had sympathy in their eyes, while some of them seemed to start to look down on him.

Ariel spat out the tea she just sipped, and it almost landed on Leon’s face.

She just knew that Leon was Iris’s savior, and stayed with Iris for the moment. She did not know about
Leon’s past at all.
Looking at Ariel’s confused expression, Michael was even more sure that Leon tricked Ariel with his
words. He said in a hurry, “Miss Summers, you might not know this, but Mister Wolf used to be married
into the Mansons. He was there for three years, and was seen as trash by a lot of people…”
