Chapter 1003
Callum’s body stiffened, and he looked at the person in his arms blankly. He muttered inwardly, “That’s right. Lillian
and Mother are different, after all.”
Ysabel could regard him as a pawn for power and wealth.
However, Lillian would never do that. Whether Callum was only a young man who met her accidentally or the
chairman of the White Maple Group and the head of the White family, Lillian only regarded him as Callum.
“Lillian… thank you,” murmured Callum and hugged her with both hands.
She leaned her face against his chest, feeling puzzled about his words. “Thank me for what?”
“Thank you… for coming to find me!” replied Callum. If she hadn’t come to find him, maybe they would have truly
missed each other.
In the next few days, all major news media reported the “dramatic changes” that White Maple Group might face.
The drama of a mother turning against her son attracted many people’s attention.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtEveryone wondered who would win the re-election of White Maple Group’s chairman soon after. According to the
reports those days, it seemed that Ysabel had a higher possibility. Many shareholders of White Maple Group had
expressed their support for Ysabel.
Although Callum had 35% of the shares, which was more than Ysabel’s, if most shareholders took sides. with
Ysabel, it would be very hard for Callum to win.
Rosalie had been paying attention to the news those days.
After returning from Lofbury, she did not tell Jonathan that she went to Lofbury. She also reminded the children not
to tell, claiming it was a secret between themselves.
Jonathan did not ask Rosalie anything tacitly as if she had never left with the children those days.
“Do you think Callum will win?” Rosalie asked Jonathan.
“It’s hard to say. After all, no one can tell who will win before the last moment,” replied Jonathan indifferently.
“If Callum is really defeated by his mother, do we need to help him?” asked Rosalie. After all, Callum got back
together with Lillian at that moment. Rosalie naturally hoped he won.
“Does Lillian want your help?” questioned Jonathan.
Rosalie shook her head. “Lillian didn’t mention it, but she said Callum told her not to worry.”
Jonathan smiled. “Since Callum has said so, he naturally has everything planned out. You don’t have to worry about
it.”
Rosalie gave it some thought and reckoned Jonathan was right. Thus, she said nothing and got up to see if the
children were asleep.
When Rosalie stood up, Jonathan hugged her from behind before she even stepped out. Then, she fell into his arms
immediately.
“What’s wrong, Jon?” asked Rosalie.
“Have you missed me these days?” His low voice sounded near her ear.
“I-I miss you.” Rosalie suddenly blushed and felt her ears were burning. If it hadn’t been for the agreement about
not telling or letting Jonathan know she went to visit Kaylie, Rosalie thought she would make video calls with him
from time to time in Lofbury.

Although Rosalie knew Kaylic, was trying to make up for the past, some things could never be made up, no matter
what.
For example, Jonathan’s father could not come back to life. It was the same as one could not relive the past.
When Rosalie was in Lofbury, every time she looked at Kaylie, she reminded herself that she would never let
Jonathan get hurt.

Even though Jonathan appeared superior to others and was unapproachable, no one knew the pain he had to go
through. Rosalie only wanted to give him more love for the rest of her life.
At that moment, Jonathan hugged Rosalie and asked in a low voice, “How much do you miss me?”
Rosalie took the initiative to wrap her arms around Jonathan’s neck and kissed his lips. “I really miss you! Jon, you’re
the one I always want to love. Even if I die, I’ll still love you!”
His fingers suddenly pressed against her lips. “Don’t say that word easily. I want you to live well!”
When Jonathan said that, there was a trace of fear in his eyes.
Rosalie’s body suddenly stiffened. She knew Jonathan remembered she almost died when she fell into the
sea.
