Chapter 601 Megan wriggled into her sleeping bag, curling up as if she were still shaking off a recent scare.
Leopold signaled for his bodyquard to go outside.
“Where did you get that knife?” he asked.
"| was afraid someone from the AK Group was tailing me and might be out to get me, so | carried a pocketknife for protection,” Megan stammered.
Leopold's piercing eyes shimmered in the dim light of Twilight Club, sharp and unyielding.

Isn't that more dangerous?" Megan pouted. "I haven't sleepwalked for days. | thought the curse was gone, but now it seems worse.” She sat up abruptly, clutching his sleeve. “Leopold, I'm so scared. You must save me and the baby" His gaze hardened, icy and stern. "You should count yourself lucky that Aurelia is unharmed. Whether your sleepwalking is real or fake, I'll not let it slide. Remember, if Aurelia gets hurt because of you, I'll see to it that you lose that child, for you do not deserve to be a mother.” A nerve twitched on Megan's face, sending chills down her spine.
“How could it be an act? The AK Group is punishing me by placing a curse on me. My head's still spinning. | feel terrible.
Leopold's expression was chilling, exuding a deadly aura.
“Always bear in mind that your life is tied to Aurelia's. If anything happens to her, you won't live another second.
That thing inside you can't be your talisman. | have no qualms about taking two lives in one.” After the warning, he turned and left.
Megan clenched her fists inside her sleeping bag. She wanted to flay Aurelia alive and turn her to ashes so she'd never again compete for the title of Mrs. Stirling.
Aurelia entered the tent, glancing at her son, who appeared to be sleeping soundly, undisturbed by the commotion outside. She kissed his little cheek and lay down to rest.
William's eyes snapped open in the darkness, a flicker of rage passing through them. That wicked woman Megan dared to bully his mom. He'd make her suffer! As dawn began to break the following day, everyone got up to await the sunrise.
William and Skyler ran to Megan, hoisting her onto a large rock to watch the sunrise together.
“Megan, have a lollipop,” Skyler offered, extending a lollipop to her.
Megan felt like dying. She didn't want to be with these two troublemakers, and she just wanted to find Leopold.
"I don't like lollipops,” she said.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSkyler puffed up his cheeks. “If you dont like lollipops, Leopold surely wont like you." Speechless, Megan reluctantly accepted the lollipop.
Aurelia occasionally glanced at the strange scene unfolding before her. Why were these two cozying up to Megan? Skyler handed the camera to Leopold. “Leopold, please take a photo of the three of us with our lollipops.” Leapold took the camera, feeling the oddity but remaining silent. Megan, seeing him ready to take the picture, naturally posed.
She unwrapped the lollipop, popped it into her mouth, and posed coquettishly.
A crimson sun slowly climbed above the horizon.
Skyler and William raised their arms, shouting in welcome to the sunrise.
"The sun is up!" Skyler hopped back into the tent and came out with an orchid. He never went anywhere without it. "Orchid, time for some sun; he said joyfully.
Orchids prefer shade, so they only bask in the morning and evening sun.
To Megan, these two seemed like monsters when squatting next to a flower and talking to it.
She tried to leave, but Skyler grabbed her. "Don't you like playing with Orchid? It will be sad." Megan feigned a yawn, desperate to escape. "I'm sleepy. | need to return to the tent and take a nap." Skyler sighed heavily, "Jeez, you're such a boring woman. No wonder Leopold doesn't like you." mmMwWLIII0fifl0&1 mmMwWLIII0fifl0&1 mmMwWLII0fiflO& 1 mmMwWLIII0fifl0&1 mmMwWL1i10fif10&1 mmMwWLIiI0fiflO&1
