Cayden heard his son murmuring about a whole bunch of things, including the contraceptives.
He took the box from his son and stared at the small box as his thoughts drifted to the way Avery had
stabbed his arm yesterday.
He had touched her, but it was out of spite and revenge. In the end, though, he had softened and didn't
end up going all the way. He stayed outside of her.
In the meantime, Zachary and Rory had already dressed up with their shoes on. They were already
waiting to go and eat breakfast with their dad.
Xavier was already waiting for them downstairs with the Bentley parked behind him.
Since his boss' arm was injured, it was only natural for Xavier to be at his every beck and call.
Even though Cayden's arm was injured, he still made sure to carry his daughter out. Xavier opened the
car door so that Cayden could buckle Rory into her seat.
Xavier realized that someone was tailing them almost right after they left.
“Let's talk at the restaurant,” Cayden said as he tapped away at his laptop. He was using the time they
travel to the restaurant to finish up the work he had left undone yesterday.
Xavier obeyed and just left their stalker be.
They finally reached the twins' favorite restaurant.
Cayden got down from the car with Zachary holding his hand and Rory in the other arm. The boss of
the oatmeal restaurant recognized the three of them and opened the door with a smile.
Xavier parked the car and walked toward the back alley.
There was a white car parked about fifty feet away. The driver was busy playing on his phone while a
woman dressed in revealing clothing was rapidly taking photos of the restaurant with a professional
camera.
Xavier bent down and knocked on the car window. “What are you doing there?”
The reporter and driver both jumped at the sound. They had both been so engrossed in Cayden and

“Get off right now or you'll both get to see the inside of a police station today,” Xavier said, his face
calm but threatening.
Both of them got out of the car.
The driver wasn't really involved in this as he was simply a regular driver who worked for the magazine
company. However, he had drove many reporters around and they were colleagues and some of them
could even be seen as friends.
“Calm down. Let's not glare at a woman like that, huh?” The driver approached Xavier with a smile,
trying to make the atmosphere less tense.
It was never easy to deal with getting caught in the act as paparazzi.
When it came to these rich tycoons, it wasn't unheard of for them to just toss and break the camera.
Some of the more short-tempered ones would even begin hitting and slapping the reporters. None of
those were out of the ordinary.
“Where are you from?” Xavier asked.
“We're a new company. You've probably never heard of us before. Actually, I did mention that I would
be taking pictures of Mr. Moore today.”
Xavier frowned. Mention? To whom?
The reporter took her phone out and placed a call.
“Dylan, I'm already here taking pictures of your cousin, but a guy who says he's your cousin's assistant
just- okay. Got it, I'll pass him the phone,” she said and proceeded to pass the phone to Xavier.
He picked it up and held it to his ear.
Dylan's voice was pretty hoarse and he sounded like he had just woken up. “Hi, there. I'm Dylan,
Cayden's biological cousin. Don't give the reporter a hard time. I'll call Cayden myself and let him know
about it later. This is none of your business. Goodbye.”
Dylan hung up and tossed the phone onto the headboard.
The clattering noise it made managed to wake the woman next to him.
Milana groaned lightly as she slowly woke up.
Her entire body was sore and the first thing she saw was a stranger walking toward the bathroom. Only
then did she recall what had happened last night.
Zayne had called her last night. “Milana, I'm drunk and can't drive. I couldn't find any taxis either. Could
you drop by?”
She wasn't willing to come pick him up, but when she heard women's voices around him, she
immediately got up and left.
If she didn't go, another woman might make use of the window of opportunity.
Zayne had finally become her fiancé. Her mother would be getting the demolition payment from
Livingsfill in just another month, and Milana would finally be getting her marriage certificate with Zayne
then. After that, they would get married.
However, when she arrived at the entertainment establishment, she hadn't even caught a glimpse of
Zayne when someone else had mistaken her for an escort and brought her into a booth. She had
somehow gotten to know a whole bunch of important celebrities.
Milana finally admitted that out of all the people there, Zayne was just a barely qualified commoner.
Out of all the rich men that she had met yesterday, she had ended up sleeping with this one.
Pregnant with Zayne's child, she had even forced Isabella to buy a house for her and her unborn child.
She had also agreed to get married to Zayne, so Milana knew that she wasn't supposed to do such an
immoral thing, but she simply couldn't resist the temptation.
She had always dreamed about being a rich man's wife, enjoying all of the wealth and status that came
with it.
She had done her best to scout an ideal suitor while she was overseas, but in the end, she had not
been successful. Finally, she had settled on returning to the country to steal Avery's boyfriend.
Zayne was still considered pretty well-off and he could also afford a car and a house.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMarrying him was better than getting married to some poor loser.
Milana sat up and got off the bed, still barefooted. She spotted a pair of men's tuxedo bottoms and
picked them up off the floor before picking up the jacket as well. Just as she was preparing to hang it
up, she spotted some name cards in the suit pocket.
She took it out and looked at the name on it: Dylan Musk.
His company and phone number had been written down clearly in a neat font.
She took one out and put it into her bag sneakily.
She heard the sound of the shower turning on in the bathroom and crept back into bed. When the man
in the bathroom emerged, she acted as if she had just woken up and turned around languidly,
purposely exposing part of her chest.
“I know you're awake,” he said, seeing through her act immediately.
When she finally got up with a bright red face, the man approached her and turned her around. He
slapped her on the waist.
Milana frowned in pain.
“Are you purposely seducing me?” Dylan asked plainly, without an ounce of emotion. He pulled her
over roughly, not even thinking of being gentle with her.
“No... That hurts,” Milana whined. She was completely willing to give it to him, but it would be better if
he were more gentle about it.
Dylan was so rough that it felt like he was killing her every time he made a move. After barely a few
minutes, she had already broken out in a sweat and her fingers were clutching at the sheets so hard it
felt like her nails were about to break.
Her body was aching everywhere.
She was finally beginning to feel comfortable after a long time, but he let go of her legs the moment she
was beginning to get used to it. “What a killjoy,” he said before turning to leave.
Milana was worried that she had done something to make him uncomfortable, but the moment she sat
up and tried to call him, she spotted the pool of blood she was sitting in.
Almost immediately after, her stomach started cramping up immensely.
