Chapter328 Two Men.
“Great! See you soon my awe lamb!” Mabel cheered up immediately with delight.
“Uh–huh… See you.”
Nova called Bates after hanging up the call with Mabel. Doubts were not erased from her mind virtually.
“Miss Bush, what are you calling for today?”
“Bates, I want to know more about grandma, is she all right recently?”
“Well…” Bates paused weirdly, sounding a bit strained.
“Tell me please, Bates, is she all right? I’m really worried about her!” Her heart skipped a beat.
Bates heaved a deep sigh, paused a moment, and said, “She is not very well in sleeping. The Old Mrs. King has
been unable to sleep for almost two days. The Old Mr. King has been dreading all the time.”
“Why did that happen all of a sudden?” Nova’s palm felt damp and clammy.
Nova’s mind was full of a garbled mess of thoughts and Henry’s words occurred to her. Is it because of her?
Because she had initiated the divorce?

worried, Miss Nova, she is feeling great now after the family doctor has made a house call. She may have a good
sleep night tonight.”
Nova listened to Bates’s words with rapt attention, chewing on the inside of her cheek. Predictably, he had been
briefed to button up.
“Well, I see. Thank you, Bates.”
All things considered, It was not a good time to visit grandma tonight, still, she wouldn’t go with Henry.
She should shun him down to the ground.
Then, Nova scrambled to collect her thoughts and put away her cell phone. Just then, she saw Kelly approaching
her with the help of Cassie.
Only three of them now were here.
Kelly was shooting Nova the most malicious look of her like she was going to peel her alive.
Nova didn’t care about it at all, however, because she was always well–prepared for Kelly and Kelly must come to
her for what Henry had just said to her according to her speculation.
“You are not allowed to go to the King’s Mansion with Henry this evening!” Kelly said in an imperative tone.
Nova cast a wry glance at Kelly and covered her mouth, laughing. “What are you worrying about? Stealing Henry
from you? There’s no need to flop–he hates me, you know.”
“You miss the point,” Kelly put on an air of concern. “I do that on your account and I fear nothing but you. As for
‘stealing Henry from me‘, which is out of my concern as well since Henry is an independent–minded man who is
prone to choose what he likes. Hence, I don’t think he will be stolen by you or by anyone else. He is free to make his
choice and I will respect any of his choices.” Kelly spoke in a slow and deliberate way.
Nova made a half–smile and looked down at her leisurely. “Really? Then I owe you a favor, my dear cousin. I can
fully get your heartfelt kindness and I will believe every word you say since you are kind to me consistently, acting
like an angel. I trust you to do me a good this time as well.”
Kelly anticipated anything but this.
What Nova said was common, to be honest, but it was oddly strange to be said by Nova…
Why is she abnormally obedient today?! For the doubt in her mind, Kelly couldn’t help but wonder. There must be
something the matter with her!

leaving anything on herself to Nova.
“Alright cousin let’s get back to the party It’s not polite to absent ourselves from it any longer.” Nova smiled sagely

But Kelly’s expression didn’t soften any even though she attempted to behave gracefully.
Helplessly, she followed Nova after signaling Cassie to move.
Till the end of the party, Nova acted perfectly normal.
Only Kelly got her blood boiled because she couldn’t have things her way.
Nova came out a little tainted by her trickery and won a lot more people’s admiration! How could Kelly put up with
it?
With people leaving, Kelly’s efforts were by now well and truly snookered.
However, there was still a surprise for them. In the corridor out of their box, two men were leaning again the wall
chatting, like they were waiting for someone.
