Chapter 661 Aarav Galloway
Gerald glanced at Joanna and did not say anything more. He led his group to the red-brick house
above along the road.
There was a rocking chair at the door of the house. An old man was sitting on it. He looked quite old.
He had a white headscarf on his head and a cigarette in his hand. His trousers were rolled up,
revealing his shins. There was some mud on his shins. He should have gone to the field some time
ago.
In the countryside, it was normal for an old man to go to the field.
When the old man saw Gerald and the others, he was not surprised. He turned to the house and
shouted, “Aarav, some people came for you!”
A middle-aged man walked to the door. He wore plain clothes and rubber overshoes, looking no
different from the other people in the village.
However, when Gerald saw Aarav, his eyes narrowed slightly.
There was a scar on Aarav’s face, and he had a hidden ruthless aura. He was not as simple as he
appeared.
However, Gerald did not sense any fluctuations of Vital Energy from Aarav. With Gerald’s current
strength, he couldn’t tell the true strength of Blaine and Dr. T, because they were stronger than him.
Even if Charles intentionally hid his aura, Gerald could sense the fluctuations of his Vital Energy, but he
could not tell his true strength.
Was Aarav as strong as Dr. T.?
The answer was no.
Gerald thought that Aarav should have fought in some life-and-death battles when he was young, so he
had such an aura!
According to Joanna, Aarav worked in the city when he was young and was the most knowledgeable

Gerald thought that Aarav didn’t work in the city. He should have been involved in some kind of battle.
In that era, it was very normal.
But now, most of those people had started doing legitimate business.
“Jaquan asked you to come here, right?” Aarav smiled. “Please come in!”
Gerald nodded and walked into the house. Just as he entered, he was slightly stunned. A beautiful
woman with an apron walked out of the kitchen. When she saw Gerald and the others, she was also
slightly stunned.
This woman seemed to be in her thirties. She was much younger than Aarav. She was dressed in
fashionable. clothes. There were even some tattoos on her arms, making her greatly different from the
people in the village.
“This is my wife. We got married when we worked in the city,” Aaray said.
Gerald was slightly surprised.
Aarav said, “Stop looking at my guests. Go upstairs!”
The woman did not speak. She curiously sized up Gerald and the others before walking up the stairs
obediently.
After his wife left, Aarav said seriously, “Jaquan wanted me to be your guide and lead you deep into the
mountains. You know what, in this village, I’m the boldest. I often go to the mountains. However, the
mountains are a bit dangerous. As your guide, I have to risk my life, so the price is relatively high. Did
Jaquan tell you this?”
Gerald nodded and said, “Yes. 800 dollars!”
Gerald winked at Valery. Valery took out a stack of money from her bag and placed it on the table.
Aarav looked slightly happy. Thank you. It’s getting late. When are you going to leave? Where are you
going?”
“Tomorrow!” Gerald said.
Gerald took out the map and handed it over. Aarav took the map and looked at it. He frowned and said,
“This
Place is in the depths of the mountains. I may not have been there before. The deeper it is, the more
dangerous it will be!”
“So?” Theo smiled and asked, “Are you not willing?”
“No.” Aarav wasn’t as simple-minded as before. Instead, he looked cunning. He said, “I need more
money!”
Valery took out another stack of money. It was as thick as the first stack. She placed it on the table and
said,
*1,600 dollars. Is that enough?”
“Yes, yes!” Aarav nodded. “Well then, we will set off tomorrow morning. You can stay here tonight. You
should
have brought tents with you, right?”
Gerald and the others brought a total of three tents, which were carried by Gerald, Theo, and Claude
respectively.
Carolyn’s backpack was full of snacks. Milo carried the wine. As for Valery and Kristen, they had
medicine in
their bags. Erik and Belinda carried some food and water!
They didn’t know how long this trip would take!
They could have used a GPS and taken a plane somewhere nearby!
However, Blaine had repeatedly warned them to keep a low profile and not let Dr. T know what they
were
doing. Dr. T was a scientific freak. He also had a lot of high-tech things. If they made a big fuss about it,
he
would know.

Aarav looked around and said, “You don’t need to put up your tents tonight. It will be troublesome to put
them away tomorrow. Some of you can stay at my house, and the others have to live in the house
below. There are
only three people in their family, so they should have rooms for you. It’s just that their house is not
good. We are now in the countryside. I hope you understand.”
Gerald shook his head and said, “It’s okay!”
They had lived in a harsher environment, so they were fine with this place.
“But then again, you all look quite young. What are you doing on this remote mountain? Did you come
here for exploration?” Aarav asked with a smile.
“You can say that!” Theo smiled and said, “But it’s better not to ask what you shouldn’t ask. Otherwise, I
won’t
give you the money!”
“Okay!” Aarav put away the money and said, “Have dinner at our house tonight! Isla, come downstairs
and fix
them up for the night.”
After that, Aarav looked at Gerald and the others and said, “Five of you can live upstairs. The other four
have to live in the house below. I will take you there and talk to them.”
“The four of us will live there!” Valery pointed at the four girls and said.
Gerald nodded!
Aarav left with the four girls. Gerald and the others were brought to the two rooms upstairs by Isla.
There were hard wooden beds in the rooms. However, Gerald and the others did not care.
After putting down their things, Gerald touched his nose and said, “You guys take care of these things.
I’ll go
take a walk!”
Theo nodded. “Okay. I’m already tired.”
“Ah!” At that moment, a scream rang out from afar.
