Even after giving it everything he had, he only managed to get one point. It definitely made Mason feel quite bad.
Jerald looked at the results and said, "The points are probably meant to be exchanged for items. If it's so hard to
obtain, then there will probably be some very valuable items if you have enough points."
The others agreed with Jerald's guess, and they nodded.
Earlier everyone had been incredibly eager to go and try their luck.
After the first two results, they started to get worried. They were scared that they would not even be able to fill up
the first vortex after giving it all they had. It would be too embarrassing.
Everyone fell into a short silence, but the silence did not last that long before someone could not hold it back
anymore. He walked forward to the stone wall.
That person looked quite average and had purple and gold robes on. He took a deep breath before he started to

Countless seals danced in the air before they condensed into a blood-red sword, floating in mid-air.
The man let out an angry shout as he pushed forward. The sword had an unstoppable force to it as it pierced right
into the energy vortex. The vortex immediately turned yellow, and the man clenched his teeth and widened his
eyes.
His eyes stared right at the energy vortex. It was obvious that he was using all the strength he had as well.
The first vortex turned bright yellow in just a few moments, showing that the energy vortex was already full. Slowly,
the second vortex glowed faintly as well.
Everyone widened their eyes. At that moment, the man's result was already the same as Mason's. If he continued,
exceeding Mason would not be a problem.
The man realized that as well. Veins started to show around his head as he formed more seals, and the second
energy vortex started to glow brighter and brighter. From the brightness alone, the second energy vortex was
probably already filled up by a third.
Unfortunately, the man was already at his limits. He only managed to last for a moment longer before he was
forced to pull back.
Without the energy feeding into it, the two energy vortexes reverted to their original look.
The man was panting as his sweat dripped from his head. He looked incredibly weak. However, he
seemed quite spirited as he watched his name appear above the nine vortexes.
Mason's name had been pushed to second place. Even though the man had only managed to get one point in the
end, he was in first place even though temporarily.
It proved that the man was stronger than Mason.
Mason's face stiffened, looking like he had just swallowed something bitter.

was only the third person, and he was already in second place. He did not know how far he would fall as the test
progressed.
With someone breaking the silence, the others were not that afraid anymore.
They needed to take the test eventually anyway. It was far better to know their results beforehand.
Jack and Lourain remained standing behind the whole time. The two of them quietly watched as the others took the
test.
Everyone's results were quite average. Most of them were only able to fill up one energy vortex, barely managing
to light up the second one. However, they failed to last for that long.
Some skilled warriors managed to fill up the second vortex, but that was already the limit.
The third vortex was like a goal that no one would dare to even think about.
The participants all frantically tried to get the third one to light up, but even after over twenty of them
took the test, not a single person managed to light the third one up at all.
