Chapter 896 That Damned Woman!
As Elisa was facing away from the door, she didn’t notice the newcomers. On the other hand, Nicole was also deep
in her thoughts, so she wasn’t paying much attention to her surroundings.
Neither noticed the two men who had just entered the restaurant, but the guys saw them immediately.
Vincent was pleasantly surprised. He pointed at the girls and asked, “Look who’s here!”
Gareth pursed his lips silently. I can see for myself.
Vincent smiled. “Should we join them?”
A frown appeared on Gareth’s face. It didn’t seem appropriate for him to interrupt their meal – he was generally
well-mannered.

otherwise.
Vincent’s lips twitched irritably upon seeing that. He had no words for Gareth but immediately walked to Elisa and
Nicole.
“What a coincidence!” Vincent exclaimed loudly.
Nicole raised her head to look at him but instantly noticed Gareth standing gracefully behind him.
Her heart skipped a beat. He’s… here! Does he know my plans with Elisa? Or is he here to protect Elisa after
learning about my meeting with Linda?
When she saw him, she felt that she wasn’t the beautiful and intelligent person people usually regarded her as. She
wanted to run away, yet she couldn’t bear to leave him.
Elisa recognized Vincent’s voice and turned around. When she saw Gareth walking alongside him, her eyebrows
were slightly arched. “Coincidence?”
Gareth stopped walking. That damned woman! I knew she wouldn’t have anything nice to say!
Nicole was surprised to hear Elisa take that tone with Gareth.
She shot a glance at Elisa before smiling at him. “Yeah, who would have thought?”
Vincent laughed. “I know, right?”
With that, he sat down beside her.
“Since that’s the case, shall we eat together?” he asked as though they knew each other very well.
Nicole did not reply to her. I don’t want to sit with him.
Similarly, Elisa also frowned without any comments.

Vincent waved to Gareth. “The ladies are here. It would be rude if you walked away right now. Come over! Their
food has already arrived. You know I have a weak stomach – I can’t be hungry for too long.”
He sounded like his stomach would malfunction if he didn’t eat at once, threatening Gareth to stay.
Upon hearing that, the waiter quickly added two sets of cutleries and brought the remaining dishes.
Looking at the food in front of them, he sighed happily. “Though it’s just the two of you, y’all sure order a lot. Do
you know in advance that we will be here?”
Nicole forced a smile at him. “Funny, Mr. Shane.”
She felt incredibly uncomfortable sitting beside him. She raised her head and looked at Gareth, sitting across her
diagonally.
However, he didn’t even look at all. She was heartbroken, but she couldn’t stop herself from loving him.
Elisa took her cutlery and started eating. She liked none of the people here.
Gareth followed suit, but his gaze turned colder when he noticed Elisa completely ignored him.
