Chapter 134 I Have Better Stamina Than Him

Darrell was aware of his good looks, physique, etiquette, and communication skills. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have
become friends with girls like Hannah and Melissa and even received a birthday invitation from Hannah.
He adjusted his suit, picked up his glass, and with a self-proclaimed suave demeanor, he stood up and walked
toward Freya’s direction.
A girl who came with him called out to him with a smile. “Darrell, where are you going?”
His eyes flickered slightly as he put on a serious expression. “Edward is a friend. There are always rumors
circulating in the university, and I would like to ask Miss Kaufmann to clarify some things if possible.”
“Darrell, you’re so brave to directly confront Miss Kaufmann. The girl seemed to be an admirer of his.
She then advised, “I think you’d better not. After all, she is the young lady of the Kaufmanns. I heard she’s very
overbearing. What if you offend her?”
Darrell put on a righteous look. “We are students of Evergreen University. Although we are attending this banquet
of the rich, we should not be afraid of them. We should have our own ideas and live up to our identity as prestigious
university students!”
His words were very grandiose, and several girls immediately looked up to him.
“Darrell really knows a lot and is very brave.”
“I always thought that he should be the school hunk of Evergreen University. That Edward is a boring guy, with only
a handsome face.”
Darrell walked slowly toward Freya who was in the corner while holding his glass.
Freya was sitting upright, looking down at her phone and chatting. She was texting Brisa.
There were too many people here today, and she didn’t feel good. Moreover, she was with Melissa, and it would be

Freya asked Brisa to come and help, but as soon as she finished sending the message, she heard an extremely
polite voice.
“Hello.”
She looked up and saw a handsome young man with an old-fashioned demeanor and a slightly shaking wrist holding
a glass of red wine.
She smiled. “Hello. You are?”
“I am a student of Evergreen University. My name is Darrell Woodard.” Darrell smiled and used his most gentle
voice. I am also a friend of Edward’s.”
“You are Edward’s friend.”
Freya treated Edward as her own younger brother, so she was kind to his friends.
Even if she didn’t want to be disturbed, she still smiled at Darrell and chatted with him for a while before continuing
to look at her phone.
He hesitated for a few seconds before saying, “Miss Kaufmann, I heard some gossip at school. I think these rumors
are very bad for Edward’s future. Although rumors are just rumors, their power and influence are huge, and they
are also the most difficult to clarify.”
Freya was a little confused. Why was this person telling her this? To express his concern for Edward?
“Personally, I see Edward as my younger brother. From a professional perspective, he is now my assistant. Don’t
worry, I will
andle this matter properly. Thank you for your concern for him.”
Darrell sneered in his heart. Does she really know her own feelings?
mall..
He quietly stared at her and felt that she had a graceful demeanor from a distance.
After he approached her, he saw her stunning and delicate face, starry eyes full of spirituality, and her small and
straight nose.
His heart began to burn with desire.
He had heard that Miss Kaufmann had been divorced and was now a single woman. If he could surpass Edward,
perhaps he could become a guest in her bed.
If he went even further, maybe he could become a son-in-law of the Kaufmanns!
The Kaufmanns were a wealthy family in Caltun, with the same status as the Monaghans!
If he could achieve this, he wouldn’t need to struggle for decades, or even generations, to reach the pinnacle of
success. The wealth that dropped from the Kaufmanns’ pockets was more than he could hope to earn in his
lifetime.
Darrell smiled and said. “Miss Kaufmann, Edward and I are studying the same major, and we’re about to graduate
soon. I’ve been considering where to do my internship, and I was wondering if your live- streaming studio needs
any photography talent?”
Freya’s eyelids twiched as she looked up at him. His lips curved into a smile, and he brushed his stray hair away
from his forehead.
Her eyes became clear, and she felt a hint of ridicule. She understood now what this male student was trying to do.
With her eyes drooped, she said indifferently, “I only do live-streaming occasionally as a hobby. It’s not really a
studio, and one photographer is enough.”
He clenched his teeth and said with a smile, “Let me compete with Edward. Miss Kaufmann, you can reconsider
after seeing whose photography skills are better.”
She tapped on her phone and the corner of her mouth lifted slightly. “What’s there to distinguish between good or

composition are both well done.”
Darrell felt that he needed to be clearer, or she might not understand his suggestive remarks.
He leaned closer to her “Photography requires some physical strength. If we shoot on location in the future, we’ll
need to carry a lot of equipment…..
Then, he lowered his voice and used his most seductive voice. “My stamina is excellent. Miss Kaufmann, you can
test me out.”
Freya laughed out loud and put down her phone. “Are you really Edward’s good friend? What kind of friend would
steal another friend’s job?”
“Friendship is one thing, but when it comes to work, ability should be the only consideration,” Darrell said with a
suggestive smile.
Freya nodded. “Okay. If you want to compete with Edward, you’ll have to get his approval first.”
Darrell’s heart was on fire. “Miss Kaufmann, why don’t I take a few pictures for you now? You can see my skills for
yourself.”
Her eyes gleamed with meaning as she asked, “Take a few pictures?”
“Yes. But there are too many people here. How about we go to that corridor over there?”
He pointed to a quiet corridor in the direction of the restroom.
Freya understood what he meant and felt disgusted. It seemed that the moral standards of the students from
Evergreen University were not very high.
Darrell noticed her hesitation and thought she didn’t like the idea of having fun in a restroom. “I heard the backyard
is also open. Maybe we could go there and take some pictures. The moon is beautiful tonight.”
She gave a cold laugh. There’s no need. I have already told Edward about your intention to compete for the job.
You two can make a decision and let me know!”
What did she mean by telling Edward?!
He was dumbfounded.
