Chapter 1405 What if I Miss My Granddaughter?
It was already dark before they knew it.
Byron had driven Rosalie to her business trip, bought presents, and helped her take things into the villa. Thus,
Rosalie naturally invited him to dinner.
After dinner, he played with the kids for a while before deciding to head back home.
"It's getting late. I might have to leave now. Estie..."
Before finishing his sentence, he heard the little girl protesting, "Estie
wants to be with Mommy!"
Byron glanced at Estelle and continued. "Estie can stay at your place for now. If you're busy, let me know and I can
take the children to my place."

They were smart enough to catch the point in Byron's words.
Their daddy said 'children,' so that included them.
They could not call him 'Daddy,' but he had already taken them as his kids.
The little ones' hearts were filled with joy when they realized this.
Estelle was delighted and satisfied to hear she could stay with her mommy.
Rosalie caressed Estelle's face and agreed with a smile. "I'll take good care of Estie."
Byron smiled. "I know."
Even if she did nothing and just stayed with Estelle, the little girl would already be delighted.
Byron headed straight back to the manor once he left Rosalie's place.
As soon as he entered the house, he saw Melody in the living room, looking upset.
"Why are you here?"
Byron's smile faded, and he sat expressionlessly on the single sofa opposite his mother.
Hearing her son's question, Melody's eyebrows furrowed. "Can’t I visit? I'm Estie’s grandma. Is there any problem
with me visiting my granddaughter?"
Byron glanced at her and said, "Estie isn’t at home. She's at her mommy's place."
He spoke as if he and Rosalie were just a couple in a loving relationship temporarily separated from each other.
Melody was even more displeased now.
'We worked so hard to raise Estie. That woman hasn't cared about Estie since she gave birth to her. I’ve done you a
favor by promising to let Estie acknowledge her as her mother, but you even sent Estie there? What are you trying
to do?"
To her, Estelle had grown up healthy and obedient not because of Rosalie.

needed her the most.
Byron frowned. "Rosie is Estie's mother. Moreover, there was a misunderstanding back then, and I believe you’ve
heard of it. Rosie thought Estie was dead."
Melody snorted. "Who knows if what she said is true? I won't be surprised by Rosalie's excuses now since she
dumped Estie back then."
Byron felt his mother was being unreasonable.
Melody knew her son would be unhappy with her saying that. Hence, she tried to put her words differently.
"Besides, I grew up watching Estie. Won't I, as her grandmother, miss her? What should I do if I miss Estie if you
leave Estie in that Jacobs woman's place?”
Displeased, Byron retorted, "You've visited Estie so many times since she was born. It makes no difference visiting
her one time lesser. Her illness is stabilized now, and she needs Rosie. It'd be better if you don’t visit Estie because
she'll recover better without you."
