Chapter 1402 Really Nothing
The old lady was sharing her experience.
Rosalie could feel the person behind her getting upset and displeased with the old lady's comment, so she quickly
interrupted.
"Madam, come on. I'm here to check your condition. If you're alright, I'll need to head back home. We'll visit you
again someday.”
The elderly had chatted with Rosalie all day yesterday. Thus, they knew she needed to return to Ocean City and
stopped speaking. Instead, they quickly asked Rosalie to carry on with her journey back because it would be dark
soon.
Rosalie was still worried about Byron getting upset when they left the nursing home.

moody gaze on her.
"Ahem..." Rosalie had to comfort him by saying, "Don't take that madam's words just now to heart. I really have
nothing to do with Young Master Xander."
Byron glanced at her. "Do you talk to him a lot?”
Rosalie explained seriously, "We only talk about some medical things, nothing else."
She and Xander knew each other because of medicine. All they could talk about were medicine and nothing else.
It was also impossible for her to have any feelings for him after only discussing with him about work.
Byron’s expression was not as gloomy as before anymore.
They returned to the car.
Rosalie still had the box on her lap and did not intend to open it.
'Why aren’t you opening it? Don't you like it?" Byron started the car engine and glanced at Rosalie.
Rosalie shook her head. "No, I just want to go back and open it."
She was too shy to open his present in front of him, especially when she had no idea what he had bought for her.
Byron seemed disappointed to hear her answer, but he did not force her to open it either.
It was almost dusk when they were back at Ocean City.
Byron drove Rosalie straight back to the villa.
The three little ones were running around in the living room with Linda.
Hearing the noise in the yard, the little ones turned and ran out toward the door.
"Mommy! Daddy!”
Estelle, who had missed Rosalie so much, ran and hugged Rosalie as she stared at Rosalie's face.
Rosalie smiled and touched the little girl's hair as she asked, "Did you miss me?"

Lucian and Nox stood by Estelle obediently, and they hesitated about who to approach first.
Since Estelle was with their mommy, they decided to approach Daddy.
However, the little boys were not used to getting close to Byron and carefully stared at him from a distance.
As if Byron had noticed their intentions, the little ones saw Byron smiling and approaching them.
'Your mommy has bought you a lot of presents. Come and help me carry them inside."
Byron touched the kids' hair and opened the trunk.
A trunk full of presents was presented to the little ones.
Lucian and Nox were overjoyed when Byron touched their heads. Their happiness was overloaded when they saw
the gifts. With excitement, they approached Byron and helped him.
Byron took the items out of the trunk and handed them to the boys. Meanwhile, the little ones carried the things
into the villa carefully.
Rosalie was amused to see Byron asking the boys to carry the things and the excited looks on the little ones' faces.
