Lumma’s friends called Adam a “jerk” Adam was not angry but even thought what they
said was right. He was an irresponsible person.
As Lamma’s husband, he didn’t help her when she needed him the most but even caused
her trouble.
Her friends hated Adam so much. It was self evident how Lumma hated him.
The three of them chatted and ignored Adam as if they didn’t see him. Adam could only take the initiative to speak.
“Lumma, are they your friends?”
Lumma turned to look at him.
Lumma thought, “D*mn! After seeing Harry and Ruby, I forgot that Adam was still here. He must have heard about
my private affairs!”

handsome, have we met somewhere? Worm, is he Lucas? If so, don’t need to divorce him. At least, he is so

Ruby was out of control when she saw a handsome guy. Lumma grabbed her hand and stopped her. She introduced
embarrassingly, “He is not Lucas. He is the president of
Hills Group, Adam. Mr. Hills, she is Ruby, and he is Harry. They are my good friends.”
Harry also thought that this man was familiar. After a few more glances, he remembered Adam. “Mr. Hills, have we
met before?”
Adam said calmly, “A few days ago, I went to see Lumma and met the two of you, but
you turned me away.”
Hearing what Adam said, Ruby also remembered him. “Yes. Mr. Hills, you look more handsome today.”
Lumma asked, “When did he come to see me? How did I not know this?”
Adam interrupted Lumma. “I heard that you are going to have dinner. Don’t you mind letting me have dinner with
you?”
Ruby was only too glad to have dinner with such a good-looking man. She nodded happily and said, “Of course not.
Welcome, Mr. Hills!”
Lumma and Harry felt embarrassed. Lumma coughed and said, “Ruby, we…”
But Ruby’s attention was all on Adam’s handsome appearance. She didn’t even notice Lumma and Harry’s
embarrassed expressions. She asked, “Mr. Hills, what do you want
to eat?”
Adam said, “I’m fine with anything.”
Ruby said, “It’s cold today. How about roasted meat.”

Lumma was surprised.
She thought, “Does Adam never eat heavy food?”
“Whenever being looked at by women, he would show a disgusted look. But today, he seems in a good mood and
even chats with Ruby. He is so weird today!”
“What the hell happened to him today?”
Before Lumma could figure it out, a gust of cold wind blew and interrupted her thoughts. She shivered in the cold.
Harry hurriedly took off his thick coat and put it on Lumma. “It’s cold outside. Let’s get in the car and then discuss
where to eat.”
Lumma’s nose turned red with cold. She sniffed and asked, “Harry, your coat smells of sweat. How long hasn’t it
been washed?”
Harry glared at her. “If you don’t wear it, give it to me.”
Lumma quickly wrapped her coat tightly and said with a smile, “The coat smells bad, out it makes me feel warm.”
