Chapter 74 Chapter 74 Summer Frost POV "Mommy, are you going out?" Jake, who was sitting on the bed pouted his lips as he looked up at me.

"Hmm... Why'd you ask?" I looked at him briefly from the mirror, and he frowned his face.

"I'm just going out to take a walk, darling. I won't be long. I promise," I walked over to him and patted his hair gently.

"Can I cwith you? I heard it's dangerous out there. I should cwith you so I can protect you," His words brought a smile to my face as I squatted in front of him and pinched his cheek.

"Thank you, darling. But you don't have to worry about Mommy. I'll be fine, ok?" I whispered then kissed his hair and briefly hugged him.

"Mommy, are we going out tomorrow? I was wondering if we could invite uncle Xander over so we can all hang out together," He blinked his eyes cutely at me.

"Not tomorrow, sweetheart. Maybe sother time," I slowly stroked his hair and smiled at him..

"He is a busy man, so you know we can't call him out to the blue moon like that. This needs proper planning, and when that is done, we can all hang out together. What do you think?" "Yes, Mom.
