“He’s an expert in herbal medicine. Don’t you know?” Anastasia said smilingly.

“Really? Can you feel my wrist, too, Mr. Austin?” The nanny was curious.

“Of course.” Austin did not turn her down. “I'll wait until you finish feeding the babies.”

“Thanks in advance then, Mr. Austin,” the nanny said happily.

Austin looked at Mike. “Would you liketo take your wrist pulse too?”

Mike shot him a sidelong glance. “What for? I'm not sick, okay?”

“Hey, sillnesses are latent. Maybe you have weak kidneys or something.”

Mike snorted and turned away. “My kidneys are working fine. Both of them are!”

The two women chuckled.

“Con, it's like doing a body checkup.” Austin was about to approach Mike when he heard, “Austin, can | have a word with

you?”

Puzzled, Austin looked over his shoulder and saw Alexander standing at the doorway. The former asked, “What is it?”

“It won't take long.” Alexander turned and left.

“Oh, okay.” Austin shrugged and pointed his chin at Mike. “I'll be right back. Tellif you change your mind.”

Mike snorted, ignoring him.

Joining Alexander outside, Austin was curious. “What's up?”

“It's about Rhea.” Looking over his shoulder at him, Alexander said, “We're alone now. Do you think it's possible to become

invisible?”

Austin was baffled. “Why do you want us to be alone? Is there anyone you don’t trust?”

He caught on right away.

Alexander shook his head. “I just want you to speak your mind without bothering about what others think. So, what do you think

about the incident?”

“| feel we know too little about our world.” After a pause, he added, “However, | think it’s unlikely Rhea becinvisible.”

“Then why did you tell us differently before this?”

“| think we should keep an open mind, but something doesn’t add up.” Austin did not think much of it, but he might as well tell

Alexander about it since he asked.

“What is it?”

“If Rhea had created a drug that could make her invisible, how did she open the door?” Austin asked emphatically. “It’s invisibility

we're talking about, not the ability to walk through walls.

“Even if she did becinvisible, she still had to open the door, right? So, when did she disappear?”

Austin’s explanation helped Alexander realize why he had a strange feeling about the incident. He thought Austin was right.

‘So, how did Rhea open the door? Did someone do it for her?’
