The assistant felt sorry for her but understood her decision. "Ms. Tate, you are a wonderful woman. I'm sure you will find someone
who loves you more than life itself."
"lI don't want to think about relationships for now," Layla said casually. "lI was rushing into things because | wanted to be with Eric."
Since that was no longer possible, she saw no point in rushing anymore.
"Ms. Tate, if even people like you have troubles in life, | guess | shouldn't beplaining about my life at all," her assistant said.
"Maybe we are all alive to suffer."
Layla forced a smile. "Don't say that. There are still plenty of things to be happy about. I've gained slevel of clarity after
getting here. | guess the pain does ease as tpasses. Tis a wonderful thing."
"Ms. Tate, you said you wanted to climb the mountain last night, so | checked online. Climbing all the way up is really tiring, so let's
not do that! There's a spot on the mountain that we can get to by cable car. We can get there to take sphotos, but it will only
get up to a thousand meters from the ground so it might not be as impressive as you expect it to be. Since that's what most people
do, let's go with this option instead!"

After a brief moment of silence, Layla asked, "Did Eric really say that he ising to Cambrode after | asked him to?"
Layla faintly remembered making a call, but she did not remember who she called, and what she had said.
"Do you want to call and confirm with him?" The assistant did not have Eric's number so there was no way for her to find out if Eric
had departed from Aryadelle.
Layla picked up her phone to call Eric.
"Sorry, but the number you called is unavailable. Please try again later."
Hearing the message, she set her phone down and realized that Eric was likely on the plane.
Layla sighed and thought to herself, "I'm such a troublemaker. | could have talked to him once | got back, so why did | have to ask
him toe here?"
"If | want to drink vodka again, you have to stop me." Layla pinched the bridge of her nose and said.
"Why don't we record a video of you saying that, Ms. Tate? | told you not to drink last night, and you wouldn't listen. I'm sure you
won't listen if this happens again..." her assistant said and took out her phone.
"et it! | should be able to control myself." She did not appreciate the taste of vodka so she could not see herself drinking it
again.
"When are you going to climb the mountain, Ms. Tate? | will need to buy the tickets ahead of time. It's travel season, so there are a
lot of tourists," the assistant said.
"Let's wait for Eric to get here!"
"Okay. Are you going up there with him? Should | go with you, or should | wait in the hotel?" the assistant asked.
"Do whatever you want."

"lI want to go up the mountain as well."
"Let's go up there together, then." Layla did not care if her assistant followed because her conversation with Eric would be a short
one.
Meanwhile, at Southern University, Ivy received a text message from an unknown number, claiming to be Layla's friend, Andrew,
and asked to meet with her at a cafe near her university.
Ivy felt like she had seen this nbefore but could not place her finger on it, so she sent Robert a message asking if he knew
someone named Andrew.
Robert replied right away. [Why are you asking about him? Crap, is he contacting you? He is the prince of Creolia who's pursuing
Layla!]
[Why hasn't Layla mentioned him before?] Ivy replied. [He said he wants to meet with me. Does he want to askabout Layla?]
[This guy! He's been so annoying, and | blocked him! He likes Layla, but Layla has been ignoring him lately, so he casking for
our help. It's not like there's anything we can do! Just ignore him!]
