"Look at how thin you are right now. It's my treat tonight, and you can just buy me dinner tomorrow," he said quiltily.
"Alright!" Avery sat down.
Jed immediately picked up the jug to pour Avery a glass of juice.
The bodyguard opened a can of beer, and Jed, on the other hand, avoided both the beer and the juice, picking up a box of coconut milk instead.

"I'm fine. If you are tired, | can go by myself "Have you forgotten about the kidnapping? " The bodyguard was impressed by her courage and said, "Just eat first! We'll see later." "Okay." Avery took a bite of her food.
Just then, Jed raised his glass and said, "A toast! Hopefully, everything will proceed smoothly from now on!" Avery raised her juice and clinked glasses with him. "Is it your birthday tonight, Jed? | feel like you are acting weird." Jed took a sip of coconut milk and shook his head frantically. "I would have asked you to buy me a birthday present if it's my birthday." Avery could not help but chuckle. Just as she was about to take a sip of her juice, a familiar figure appeared before her.
Elliot had met with Nick earlier that afternoon, and after that, he had gone searching for Hayden. It was time for dinner, and both he and his bodyguard entered the restaurant. He was surprised to see Avery.
His bodyguard, Aaron, recognized them and approached their table.
Jed and Avery's bodyguard remained quiet.
Avery told the waiter to bring over two more sets of cutlery.
Both the bodyguard and Jed were rendered speechless at this point.
When the cutlery arrived, Avery took Elliot's glass and poured him some juice.
Both Jed and the bodyguard panicked and thought to themselves, "Somebody help us! There's sleeping medication in that juice!" They had planned to get Avery out of there the moment the sleeping pills kicked in.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThey had expected everything to go smoothly, but then, Elliot turned up. There were plenty of restaurants in that area, ;e-> XJW; yet, he had chosen this one; and there were plenty of empty tables, but he had to sit with them.
Jed had never done anything bad before. He flushed as his heart started racing. He opened his mouth slightly in an attempt to say something but did not know what to say.
Avery's bodyguard was quicker on his feet. He snatched the glass of juice from Elliot's hand.
"You are a man, so why are you drinking juice? C'mon! Let's drink beer!" The bodyguard got rid of the juice inside the glass and started filling it with beer.
"What are you doing?! He can't drink!" Avery said.
Avery took Elliot's glass back, got rid of the beer, and began refilling it with juice.
Both Jed and the bodyguard’s faces started twitching, and their eyes looked as though they were about to pop out of their sockets.
Elliot immediately noticed that something was wrong.
