Sean frowned slightly. If that were so easy, they would not have such thoughts about Don then.

Senior Zimmer slammed the table lightly. He then said, “If anybody can get this amount of funds, then he

or she will be the manager of the project of establishing the shopping center!”

The project of the shopping center was considered the biggest and most important project of the

Zimmers now.

If one could be appointed as the manager of that project, he or she might take over the Zimmers and

become the head of the Zimmers.

The minute Senior Zimmer said that, a lot of people looked strange.

But, it was too tricky if everyone wanted to get in touch with the York Enterprise.

“Grandpa.” Zack stood up all of a sudden. “Recently, I got to know a beauty from the York Enterprise,

and she’s the manager there. She seems like the one who’s having a rather privileged status in the

company, and the others will listen to her. Why don’t I go and ask her out to talk about it.”

Senior Zimmer frowned and said, “She’s just a manager. How will the others listen to her?”

“Grandpa, a manager certainly is unable to do so. But I heard that she’d be promoted to be the president

soon. Then she’ll be considered having the second most privileged status in the company. Certainly, a

person like that can get the others to listen to her.”

Zack smiled faintly. It was somewhat chaotic in the Zimmers now. He wanted to take advantage of that

opportunity to gain the upper hand in his family. Then he would be appointed as the chairman in the

future.

Sean took a glance at his own son, but he said nothing. If his own son could really help to resolve that

great issue, then his family would be favored more by Senior Zimmer.

Seeing that the others looked at him apprehensively, Zack smiled happily and took out his phone to

make the call. He even put it on speaker mood.

“Hello!” The person sounded rather anxious at the other end of the phone, but the voice was quite

pleasant.

Zack did not notice anything. He then said loudly, “Miss Sorrell, I’m Zack from the Zimmers.”

At the other end of the phone, Harvey had just reached the company by riding on his electric bike

because of Don’s incident. Wendy was reporting the work to Harvey now.

The company was quiet now because it was night time. Zack used such a loud voice that Harvey could

hear his voice from his quiet office.

Zack continued to use his loud voice and said, “Miss Sorrell, it’s like this. I heard that your company has

added around eight hundred million dollars as the investment funds. The Zimmers require thirty million

dollars. I hope that Miss Sorrell could help me with it so that we’re able to obtain the funds.

“Don’t worry about it. I do know how to act accordingly. If we get the funds, we won’t mistreat you.”

Wendy felt rather nervous and stressed. Would she lose her job since Zack said those kinds of things in

front of Harvey?

At that moment, she wanted so badly to strangle Zack to d***h.

Harvey was reading some documents at first. After hearing Zack’s voice, he looked up curiously. He then

said, “Is it Zack? Does it mean that the Zimmers are asking for investment funds now?”
