Seeing that Levi was surprised, Mia found it ironic.

determined to defeat her one day.
After Levi and Diana left, Mia went to the ice cream shop to retrieve the two children. She expected
them to be scared, but instead, Anna exclaimed excitedly, “Mommy, you’re amazing! You defeated the
bad guys with just a few words! You’re a heroine!”
Mia couldn’t help but smile at her daughter’s words. Though the title “heroine” didn’t sit well with her, it
was comforting to know that her children weren’t afraid.
After Levi and Diana left, they went to the hospital to visit Wendy.
“Why are you here?” Wendy asked, surprised. She quickly looked around, fearful of Joe finding out
about her contact with the White Family. If he did, they would be in serious trouble.
Levi felt a sense of relief seeing Wendy in such a panic. Finally, he had something to use against her
as leverage.
Half an hour later, Levi and Diana left, satisfied with their visit. Wendy was left with a gloomy
expression.
She had never anticipated that the White Family, which had been a mere pawn in her game, would
dare to strike back. And it was all because of Mia!
If Mia hadn’t suddenly returned, Wendy wouldn’t have faced rejection after rejection. Now, not only was
