Chapter 1365 We Will Be Fine
Bert is grateful to Alivia for once again stepping into his life. If she were to die in this accident, he wouldn't know
how to live with the guilt and regret that would follow him for the rest of his life.
He probably wouldn't love anyone else in this lifetime, carrying on with such guilt.
Alivia looked at the window in front of her, the night outside was deep, only the remnants of the street lights were
bright. The moon in the sky was half-curved, and the foggy light shone through the clouds.
But her mood at the moment was exceptionally clear.
The man's voice, passionate and intense yet steady, rang in her ear. She opened her mouth and closed it again,
wanting to say something but didn't know how to express it. After half a minute, she finally said, "Bert, we'll be fine."

has suffered a lot, everything is so difficult.
She doesn't wish for anything else now, as long as they could be fine, it would be enough.
"Alright," The man closed his eyes slightly. He had heard various demands in his thirty-plus years of life, but at this
moment, these words stirred a sourness in his heart, "We'll be fine."
No matter what the future holds, he was willing to walk with her, to be fine together.
The last person to hear the news of Alivia waking up was Marcellus. He had not been to the company for several
days because of his burns. Kevin knew about his burns and only told him about it in the last few days.
At that moment, Marcellus was sitting in the living room watching a football match. When he heard the good news
on the phone, he leaped up from the sofa, "Really?!"
Beryl, who was cooking in the semi-open kitchen, was scared half to death by his sudden yell. Her hand holding the
frying pan shook violently, almost tossing out the frying egg inside.
She took a deep breath, resentfully looking at the man who was pacing and talking loudly in the living room. She
turned off the fire unhappily and put the egg, toast, handmade blueberry jam, and a cup of hot coffee on the dining
table.
She stood in front of him, mouthing, "It's time to eat."
Marcellus just looked down at her, showing no intention of going to the dining room.
Beryl looked at the time, 8:25. She had to go back to school at noon. Although there was still time, she wanted to go
earlier.
So, she pointed toward the dining room and whispered, "I've made breakfast for you. I have something to do at
school at noon, so I'm leaving first."

Saying this, she turned around to get her backpack from the sofa, a black backpack she had carried over.
At this point, Marcellus stopped pretending not to see her. He bent down to hold her arm that was reaching for the
bag, raised an eyebrow, and continued talking to the person on the other end of the phone, "Alright, I got it. This is
good news, at least you can be relieved now. Come by my place when you have time in the next few days, I have to
hang up now, I have some matters to attend to."
Beryl, standing closer now, heard the clear and melodious male voice on the other end of the phone joking, "What
could you possibly be busy with so early in the morning? Looks like you have company at home. Marcellus, you're
not young anymore, so can you settle down..."
"Enough, no need for the lecture. Focus on your matters with the doctor, I'm hanging up now, bye!" Without waiting
for Kevin's response, Marcellus hung up the phone.
The first thing he did after moving his hand away from his ear was to ask her, "Where are you going?"
