“Kiley, what’s wrong with you? Why do you look so awful?”

Kiley forced out a smile, “I’m fine, just been working a lot recently, a bit tired.”

With a look of concern, Ruby said, “Work is never–ending, your health is the most important thing. Don’t wear yourself out.”

Kiley nodded, her tone somewhat perfunctory, “Hmm, I’m going back first.”

“Good.”

After Kiley left, Ruby slowly walked into the bathroom. After touching up her ma keup, she slowly raised a smile in the mirror.
