Chapter 28 Hiss! Nathan woke up after being called by his men. His wounds had been cleaned and dressed by his

subordinates. “Get lost! You guys are useless!” Nathan kicked away the subordinates who were beside

him. He was furious when he thought about what had just happened. “He can fight, right? I want to see

how well he can fight!” Nathan’s expression was ferocious. He took out his phone and made a phone

call. “Bring thirty men over and wait for me at the basement parking lot of Ember Hotel!” After he hung

up, he could feel the pain in his back and face. He vented his anger by throwing things. ‘Bloody h*11!

That man ruined my plan! I won’t forgive him!’ He only got angrier as he thought about it. Then, he

called his colleagues. “George, I remember that you had performed a quality check on the Gardner

Corporation project, right? Tell me some flaws you found!” “Julius, aren’t you in charge of one of the

projects of Gardner Corporation? Get me some negative news about this project!” Nathan waited in

silence.

After making a few calls, Nathan’s expression darkened. “Son of ab*tch, I will make you kneel in front

of me!” “Scumbag, I want to see how many quality check crises the Gardner Corporation can handle!”

In Room 2101…

Redmond and Cyrus kept clinking their glasses. They were toasting with tea instead of wine. Cyrus

also found out that Redmond was treating him with a much more obliging attitude. Cyrus thought about

it and felt that it was likely because of Eos. Zedekiah and Redmond were truly cunning people. They

were trying to test Cyrus without making their intentions clear. At first, Cyrus thought that Eos had come

over to celebrate Zedekiah’s birthday. After the meal, Cyrus, Zedekiah, and the others went to the

basement parking lot. “Cyrus, I still need to attend a meeting tomorrow. So, I need to rush back to

Wyndham City tonight.”

“Cyrus, if you come to Wyndham City, don’t forget to come and visit me.” Cyrus nodded. “Okay, I will.”

Zedekiah nodded happily and got into the car. Meanwhile, Redmond said, “If there is anything you

need me to settle, just call me.” Then, Redmond got into the driver’s seat and left with Zedekiah. When

Cyrus was about to leave, Edmund immediately asked, “Mr. Salazar, did you drive here?” “No. I will go

out and hail a taxi.” When Edmund heard that, he quickly spoke up. “I can give you a ride! I was hoping

He also wanted to ask Edmund about Nathan. Edmund was relieved when Cyrus accepted his offer.

Then, he was excited and said, “Mr. Salazar, please give me a moment. I want to go to the bathroom!”

He previously did not have the urge to pee because he was too nervous. However, now that he was at

ease, he could not hold his pee any longer.

Cyrus waited for Edmund at the same place. After two minutes, there was a loud sound.

were tens of people beside Nathan, and they did not look like good people. “Nathan, is this the man

you want us to get rid of?” A young man with scraggly hair who was standing beside Nathan asked

rudely. “Yes! It was this son of a b*tch!” Nathan gritted his teeth and looked at Cyrus. “What the h*ll are

you still doing here! Go and kill him!” At this moment, a loud noise rang out.
