you here?”

Chad was taken aback, his voice cracking, “Family?!”

Egbert just chuckled and coolly retorted, “Can’t I be her family?”

Chad was choking with rage, “How can he be considered your family?!”

Egbert quickly tried to cover Eileen’s mouth, but she beat him to it, “Why can’t he be my family? Look,

he’s got two eyes, a nose, and a mouth, just like me. What are the odds? He must have inherited my

features, he’s my son! Of course, he’s my family!”,

Chad was dumbfounded, and Egbert was speechless.
