What a pity!
Cedric had never let her go, but now he expected her to stop?!
It was too late!
Bang!
The moment the taxi door slammed shut, it felt as if that door had also struck Cedric's heart deeply. -
Back at the manor, Natalie observed the tulips scattered throughout the place.
Her mind was in a mess.
Even though Natalie had told Irwin not to wait for her for lunch, the spread on the dining table was still catered to

It seemed as if Irwin knew she would return, so he had waited until one in the afternoon before eating with her.
"The flavor seems different from this morning," she remarked, though it still had the essence of Simeria.
Natalie had a keen palate. She could instantly tell that the chef was different from the one who had prepared

The man across from her took a sip of his red wine. Then, he looked directly at Natalie and casually said, "If they

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Irwin asked as he set down his wine glass.
With a faint smile, Natalie replied, "I find you terrifying."
She was direct, leaving no room for pretense.
Irwin chuckled. "Once, perhaps I was."
But not anymore.
"I'm done eating," Natalie announced, setting down her spoon abruptly.
In truth, facing Irwin made her lose her appetite.

"You've barely eaten. Have some more." His tone was insistent, but Natalie didn't respond and headed straight
upstairs.
Watching her leave, Irwin sighed in frustration.
This woman was such a wildcat...!
When Dylan arrived, Irwin was still there and drinking a glass of red wine. His demeanor revealed the turmoil he
was currently in.
"Sir."
"Hmm?"
"That man went to see her when she was leaving Glory Road," Dylan said with a grave tone.
Cedric?
Irwin's already furrowed brow deepened upon hearing Dylan's words. "So, he has so little patience, huh?"
