My Billionaire Family 325
Chapter 325
Cherise, lost in thought, shut her eyes tightly and crossed her arms, leaning back in the chair.
'Ms. Garcia and Amelia shared their surname. So, who was this Ms. Garcia? | never heard of her, let alone met
her. And what about Megan and Rita?" The paternity test, however, showed no blood relation
Amelia, even when young, didn't resemble the woman in the photograph at all.
It felt like everything was slowly falling out of sync, yet somehow, it also seemed to be moving closer to the
truth.
Endless possibilities raced through her mind, each more confusing than the last.
Maybe it would be better to ask Dennis or Bella; these events were from decades ago.
Or perhaps one of the village elders might know something-
But for now, Cherise didn't feel it was urgent
If her grandmother were still alive, it would be different. But now that she was gone, piecing together the past
might be harder than expected.
Still lost in thought, Cherise stood up, took the photograph, and walked out of the study.

As she left, she saw Bella holding a shopping bag.
"Are you going to the market?" Cherise asked.
Bella grinned. "Yes, there's a crowd today. Dennis and | thought we might not have enough veggies for dinner, so
we're going for another round. "You've just finished reading, haven't you? You're always so diligent. But why do
you look so... off? Haven't you rested properly?"
Cherise smiled softly. "No, I'm fine. But Bella, can you take a look at this photo? Have you seen it before?"
She showed Bella the photograph.
Bella squinted at it. "Isn't this you? When was it taken? It looks so old, and the color is a bit yellowed."
Cherise chuckled and shook her head. "No, Bella, that's notjust an elder who happens to look a lot like me."
"Really? | didn't know there was anyone who looked so much like you. If you look closely, you are more beautiful
Bella squinted at the photo again.
It was clear Bella didn't recognize the woman in the picture.
Cherise bit her lip. "Hmm... Bella, have you ever heard my grandma mention a Ms. Garcia?"
Bella shook her head "Ms. Garcia? Isn't that your grandma?"
Cherise took the photograph back. "I see. Well, you should hurry to the market. Dennis is probably waiting for
you downstairs."
"Alright then, I'm off! There's sdescent in the kitchen-eat if you're hungry!" Bella waved and headed
downstairs.

Cherise nodded and glanced at the photo one more tbefore walking into her room and putting it in a drawer.
She stood on the balcony, watching as Dennis and Bella rode off on the motorcycle, disappearing into the
distance. She let out a soft breath. "This can't just be a coincidence... Morris hadn't returned yet. With Dennis
and Bella gone, the house felt unusually quiet.
Cherise turned and walked downstairs.
Halfway down, she heard a hurried knock at the door.
It sounded urgent. She quickened her pace and went outside.
The yard's fence was too high to see over, but when she reached the gate, she opened it. "Ah, what brings you
here?"
"Well, boss," Crow grinned, "you're all on vacation, but I haven't had mine yet, so | thought I'd cby and relax
a bit." He added, "I saw Leo's post in Saphira, so | figured I'd join the fun. But where's everyone else? By the way,
I'm starving Crow, with his hair dyed again, dragged a large black suitcase behind him.
Cherise glanced at his hair with mild distaste. "The food's in the kitchen."
She turned and went back inside.

Crow, familiar with the house, didn't need any further instructions, and Cherise didn't feel like entertaining him.
She went upstairs, but instead of heading to the study, she went to her room and took out her laptop.
She hoped to search through her contacts and find something that might help solve the mystery.
An hour later, a faint smile touched her lips-she found something.
She glanced at the clock and then at the sky, which was starting to turn dark. She murmured, "Morris should be
back soon Closing the laptop, she stood up and went downstairs. When she reached the stairs, something felt off
about the atmosphere below, though she couldn't pinpoint what it was. At this tof day, the house and village
were never this quiet. There should be lights on by now.
e turned the corner at the bottom of the stairs and was struck by what she saw in the living room.
She
The room was filled with lush, vibrant red roses.
The already large living room was overwhelmed by the flowers there were so many that she couldn't even begin

them.
A narrow path was left through the middle, leading to a glowing beon sign with a directional arrow and the
