The doctor has been over a bunch of times. I tried hiding his cigarettes and booze, but it didn't help..." Selena's brow furrowed.
Wasn't Everett supposed to be getting along with his new date? Why wasn't she taking better care of him? How could she let him spiral like this? The project in Hillcrest had wrapped up, and Blaine figured the South would be better for Selena's pregnancy. Plus, he wasn't comfortable with her heading back to Hillcrest alone, especially if something happened-he couldn't just jump in to help.
