The scene was supposed to be a tic push into the water, but before the director could even give the cue, Anna went ahead and pushed Athena straight in.

Now, Athena wasn't much of a swimmer. She flailed about for a bit before sinking beneath the surface. People nearby rushed to her aid, luckily managing to pull her out before anything serious happened.

Anna, however, didn't show a hint of remorse. She just stood there, nonchalantly blowing on her freshly painted nails. "Con, you knew there was a water scene. Should've learned how to swim by now, right? Talk about unprofessional." Athena coughed hard, trying to rid her lungs of water, finally managing to breathe somewhat normally. She shot a look at Anna, who merely raised an eyebrow. "What? Am I wrong?" Athena simply dropped her gaze, choosing to remain silent. But the director wasn't having it. He walked over, his frustration evident.

"Anna, you need to follow my direction for the upcoming scenes. Let's not let personal grievances waste everyone's time." Anna's face was a mix of disbelief and indignation. Was the director implying she was bullying Athena on purpose? She forced a smile, hiding her irritation. What was with this Athena? Maybe she'd gotten cozy with the director, who was in his fifties now. The thought was revolting, but she couldn't afford to ruin her reputation further. Yesterday's incident, where she slapped Athena a dozen times, had already started to tarnish her image within the crew.

Oh well, her fans still saw her as their untouchable angel.

The water scene had to be shot three times, but it finally wrapped up. Athena felt dizzy, last night had been rough, and she hadn't had a chance to rest. After spending so much tin the water, she fainted as soon as the afternoon shoot ended.

The paparazzi, ever the vultures, had a field day with it, snapping pictures as she was taken to the hospital. Rumors flew about the show being halted, which made Tyler, the show's investor, anxious enough to call the director.

The director was a bundle of nerves, worried Tyler was going to blhim for Athena's accident. But, after scautious probing, it turned out Tyler didn't seem to care about Athena at all.

"Tyler, aren't you going to visit Athena? She's fallen ill after the drowning incident and might need to take a few days off." Tyler was annoyed. "Just make sure to keep the set secure. The last thing we need is bad press affecting our ratings." It was clear; Tyler had no intention of visiting Athena. He'd probably just had a fling with her, nothing more. Athena was too naive to know how to keep a man interested.

Relieved Tyler wasn't angry, the director figured Tyler's real interest was Anna.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Athena lay burning with fever. Doris stayed by her side, fuming. With more scenes like this coming up, Athena might end up in the hospital regularly. "Athena, you need to talk to Tyler, get him to rein in Anna, or you'll be visiting the hospital a lot." Athena, pale and exhausted, muttered, "Doris, I don't have his number, nor do I know how to reach him. He doesn't care about me." Doris sighed, rubbing her temples. "You're too proud. Take a page from Anna's book. She can barely keep her clothes on around Tyler." A bitter smile tugged at Athena's lips. Why ridicule Anna when she herself had been just as desperate for Tyler's attention? They'd been together twice, and she doubted he'd caround again. But she was wrong. She soon encountered Tyler again on set. He was with another man, the lead actor, giving him spointersAthen@had heard Tyler had stakes in a film company his friend owned, and this actor was one of their talents. No wonder Tyler took such care of him. Athena watched with a mix of envy and longing. As Tyler prepared to leave, she gathered her courage and approached him, gently grabbing his sleeve.

Tyler turned, his expression shifting as he recognized her, though he couldn't quite place her name. "Oh, it's you." Seeing the lack of recognition in his eyes, Athena felt a pang of disappointment. "Athena. My nis Athena." * Privacy
