The four of them talked for a long time before Jack finally spoke.
He said calmly, "Alright! It's been two hours. You should hurry up and leave. If that array really was used to
determine locations, then this place is already exposed. They will find us if we continue staying here."
The four of them nodded. Maxcus' group bid their farewells gratefully before leaving Jack.
Before he left, Maxcus had already figured out how to spread the news. He even dreamed of a future when
everyone was working together against the warriors at the peak.
It seemed like it would be a majestic sight. Maxcus and the others gave a transmission array to Lourain before they
left. That way, they would be able to communicate any news they had. Jack and Lourain choose a direction to
advance.
Time passed very quickly, and a day was gone in a flash.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIn the last moments of that day, Jack and Lourain were surrounded by distorted space. The two of them were not
surprised, since they already knew the rules by heart. As the days passed, Toman Battlefield would shrink by half. At
the final moments of the day, every participant who was still in the space that would disappear would be teleported
elsewhere.
Once space stabilized again, everything in front of them would change. They had been on a wide plain before, and
they were transferred to a dense forest. There were incredibly large trees of unknown origins all around, and the
leaves blocked the sunlight.
"It's the second day. Do you think we'll be able to see any unique demons?" Jack asked calmly.
Lourain shook his head. It was hard to be certain about anything.
To Jack, green and crimson demons were too weak for Jack to bother with.
It was good enough to leave those demons to Lourain.
The two of them talked as they advanced. Mainly, Lourain was the one doing all the talking, and Jack merely
answered once in a while.
The two of them advanced for another six hours.
Lourain suddenly thought of something as he asked, "Jack, I was talking to Maxcus and the others for so long, but
you never said anything the whole time. It seems like you don't really approve of what we were talking about."
Lourain had been thinking about that for quite a long time.
When Maxcus and the others were talking about everything, Lourain paid attention to Jack's reactions.
He noticed that Jack remained calm no matter what they said, and even saw traces of disagreement in Jack's eyes.
Jack sighed as he turned to look at Lourain, "It's not that I disapprove, it's just that all of you are thinking about
things in too simple of a manner."
Lourain was taken aback, "What do you mean? Do you think the final results won't be like we expect?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJack nodded.
Lourain suddenly felt a bit anxious, "Then what will happen in the end? I feel like there's nothing wrong with how
we're thinking. Things are already at this stage. If we don't work together, then we'll just be there waiting to be
slaughtered."
Jack looked at Lourian and sighed, "The participants here are like dust that's dispersed all over a plate. If they find
out about the sinister plan, they would naturally want to work together against a common enemy. As long as
someone gathers everyone else, they will work together. However, none of you have any ties to each other. As long
as someone just uses a bit of a plot, then things will return to normal."
Lourain did not really understand.
He had just wanted to ask even more when a bundle of fire appeared next to his ear.
Someone was relaying information to him.
Lourain immediately listened. After he heard everything, he was stunned in place.
