"So, this is the plan." Rhizen said, pointing at his surroundings, "Every twenty years, this world resets. But, I want to limit this power."
"How…will you limit it?" Compass Carburettor asked, wondering if it was possible. After all, this was a power originating from a Grade 4 System.
"Yes, it's possible since my second fusion material is this world's controller." Rhizen nodded, "As the reset prevents any development, I want the reset only to be in terms of the age of everything in this world and nothing else."
Basically, a building that was thirty years old would become ten years old after the reset. Similarly, a seventy-year-old man would become a fifty-year-old.
Basically, what Rhizen's goal achieved was that no entity, whether living or non-living would ever experience collapse due to growing age.
Normally, everything that happened over the span of twenty years would vanish, bringing everything to the starting point upon reset. But now, the world would continue to develop as is, like any other world.
But every twenty years, the age of everything would become younger by twenty years. Basically, things would always be brand new while still allowing for development.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"But doing this would mean that a lot of the power of this world's reset is left unused." Rhizen said, "If too much of it is stored up, it might result in grave problems, since this is the power of time. Hence, I thought of something to use it up."
The first of it was age regression.
A middle-aged man aged fifty at the start of the apocalypse would become seventy years old at the end of the apocalypse. And when the world resets, he would only return to being a fifty-year-old middle-aged man.
But by harnessing the power of time that was in excess in their world, he could de-age all the way up to being a twenty-year-old youth in his prime. This was the limit Rhizen had set up.
"And, anyone or anything below twenty years in age wouldn't regress in age." He continued, "Only after they cross this age would they regress in the next reset. And that would only bring them to twenty years in age."
"Basically, everyone and everything would be maintained at an optimal age." Compass Carburettor muttered.
"That's the plan." Rhizen nodded, "And for those who no longer wish to live an infinite life, they could opt-out from this and gradually grow old. Their age wouldn't regress. And they have the freedom of choice as long as they wield Nacre."
"Hmm, it seems you've truly thought through everything." Compass Carburettor nodded, "Then, what's my part in all this? Just clearing the minds of everyone isn't even worth mentioning."
"I'll get to that part." Rhizen said, continuing as he stared at Stencil, "I'll be requiring Stencil's help first."
He pointed at a Mutated Beast far away, "The Mutated Beasts aren't suited to be wielded using Nacre. So, I'm planning to follow a model of power that fuses both our world and the cultivation world we've been at."
"You mean…?" Compass Carburettor's eyes widened in surprise.
"All the Mutated Beasts would be transported to a place similar to the Martial Spirit Realm. And everyone in this world would awaken automatically at the age of fifteen. After that, they'll make a trip to this place to obtain their Mutated Beast. And for every breakthrough in their Stage, they'll make a trip there to get a Mutated Beast."
"But, creating this Martial Spirit Realm counterpart is the difficult part." Rhizen said, "Immortal can create a basic space, but it's hard to attach it to our world seamlessly."
"I can do the attachment, no problem." Stencil said, "My Secret Refiner System is geared for this."
"I can create the perfect world for that." Suddenly, Gahrat's voice resounded from Compass Carburettor as she appeared beside him, stating with a calm tone.
"You can…?" Rhizen's eyes lit up in surprise.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Yeah, it's not a big deal. My powers originate from the laws of this world after all. So, I can create a world perfectly suited to house all the Mutated Beasts. Moreover, it would be in your control." Gahrat said.
Gahrat's Personal Fragment, Dimensional Space had evolved due to her Lore as the Lord of Creation, allowing her to create various worlds of her choosing. Her only limitation was her understanding and Mental Energy.
Rhizen snapped his finger, causing two more of his figures to appear. His Human Divine Martial Spirit can split into three after all.
Pointing at the two figures, Rhizen said while looking at Stencil, "Fuse the first one to the world Gahrat creates. They'll form the laws that ensure the Mutated Beasts are all one-horned, just like Martial Spirits in the cultivation world. Moreover, they can live there safely."
"But, wouldn't their numbers dwindle?" Compass Carburettor muttered, "That's one of the problems of the cultivation world, right? They have a limited number of Martial Spirits. And hence, when a System manages to kill a Martial Spirit, the world itself takes a blow. And it is by devouring these Martial Spirits that the cultivation world is losing power. Why do you want to proceed on the same path?"
"I'm not following it." Rhizen smiled in response, "Remember that this place only accommodates Mutated Beasts. They are called Mutated Beasts if they have one horn. And there's plenty without a horn even at the end of the apocalypse."
"So, there would be a constant supply of Mutated Beasts." Compass Carburettor muttered.
"Yes," Rhizen nodded, "And I'll designate large areas where only the animals and birds can live. This would ensure a consistent population and a consistent supply of Mutated Beasts."
He then pointed at the second figure of himself, staring at Stencil, "Fuse him into the core of this world. This way, our world's power system would change in accordance so that everyone from the next loop onwards wields Nacre instead."
He pointed at Immortal, "As he's an expert of wielding the laws of the worlds, he has already done all the necessary changes. The only thing left is to fuse everything together to make a working whole."
"That's exciting!" Having heard the entire plan, Stencil was excited.
