Chapter 1974: The Wedding Celebration
The next day.
All of Joyce's medical checks cback clear, and she was discharged from the hospital to go home.
Luther personally drove her back, with Cecelia waiting at hand having beautifully decorated the house.
Opening the door, you could feel the festive atmosphere, sweeping away any previous gloom.
It happened to be a weekend, so Anderson and Alisha didn't have to go to school or take toff.
Early in the morning, Alisha got up to help her grandmother decorate. They bought many flowers, arranged them in vases, and
placed them around the house. Even in winter, one could feel the breath of spring.
Meanwhile, Anderson helped set up the nursery at home, ensuring everything was ready for when the younger siblings returned in
a few days.
Upon Joyce's arrival home, Alisha ran up first and threw herself into her mother's arms. "Mommy, welcback. Do you like the
surprise | prepared for you?"
Joyce's heart warmed as she hugged Alisha and kissed her cheek. "I love it, Alisha. Mommy really likes it."
Looking around, Luther admired the festive decorations prepared for Joyce's arrival, all thanks to Cecelia's efforts.
In the living room, Joyce set Alisha down and turned to Cecelia. "Mom, you're already so busy, and yet, you went through all this
effort with the decorations. You must be exhausted."
Cecelia waved it off. "This is nothing, how could it tireout? By the way, the nursery is all set up, and Andres helped too. | have
something to discuss with you. When it comes to hiring household staff, caution is necessary. | brought two nannies from the
Capital, both relatives of military warlords, so they should be relatively reliable. However, two nannies may not be enough. We still
need to hire two or three more month nannies. Hiring people isn't difficult; what's challenging is conducting thorough background
checks."

house for the interview," Luther mentioned, "I've arranged a meeting room in the group's office. I'd appreciate it if you could go
and interview them personally. As for background checks, you select the candidates, and | will arrange for the checks."
Joyce furrowed her brows. "I'm worried about falsified documents. Grayson's background was thoroughly checked at the time, but
there were no flaws. But in reality, he's not even from Gon Macreddin."
"We have limited information on foreigners. If they're locals from Khebury, it would be easier. We can conduct peripheral
investigations into their identities," Luther explained.
"We don't need so many people. How about getting them from the warlords? Instead of hiring from outside?" Joyce suggested.
"That's not possible. Even people within the warlords' ranks cannot be entirely trusted. If someone has already infiltrated and we're
unaware, the trouble would be greater. That's why | only brought two people. I'll have Luther find two more so they can supervise
each other," Cecelia analyzed. "There was almost an incident before. It's better to be cautious. With you giving birth early, some
things were unprepared for, and we didn't have tto find people. While the babies are still in the incubator, let's rush to do
background checks. We aim to have staff in place by the tthe babies return home."
Luther agreed.
Joyce's brows furrowed. "I understand."
"I had the security system at hrepaired," Luther stated. "I also reassigned the security personnel. Those who stayed are the
most reliable. With the additional special operations personnel brought in by mom, there's no need to worry about intrusion for
now."
"Mommy, | redesigned the security system," Anderson suddenly piped up, squeezing in between them. "There were loopholes in
my design before, as | only focused on making the system intelligent without considering that the basic circuit system could be
hacked. It changed my perspective. | spent these days studying with Uncle Kane and added a front-line checkpoint on top of the
basic circuit. Uncle Kane has sentthe program he worked on overnight, and now it's all installed. No one can enter our house
by cutting off the basic circuit anymore."
Joyce listened, her brows furrowed, giving Luther a look.
"Did you tell him about what happened at home? He's so young, yet you involve him in everything. Do you think that's
appropriate?" she questioned Luther.
Luther innocently shook his head. "I never told Andres anything. He cto askon his own. | couldn't hide it from him and had
to tell him what happened."
Anderson raised his head. "Mommy, don't bldad. | found out on my own. | have separate connections to the hmonitoring
systems and intelligent systems. | noticed that the thad decreased, indicating a long interruption had occurred. It was
definitely wrong, so | asked dad."
Joyce lightly tapped Anderson's head. "You, knowing so much. You worry too much. You're just a child."
"I'm not a child. I'm a big brother now. | have a little sister and two little brothers who need my protection!" Anderson proudly
declared, puffing out his chest and looking serious.
Joyce couldn't help but laugh. "You're too cute. Don't worry. You're just a child."
Cecelia affectionately hugged Anderson. "Yes, you're a big brother, the eldest in the house."
Anderson remained serious. "Don't laugh, I'm serious. I'll take care of my siblings."
"Yes, that's how a big brother should be," Luther praised. "Thanks to you, the hsystems are now more secure. You can go play
with your sister now."
Cecelia took Anderson's hand. "Let's go find your sister. Grandma will take you to the kitchen for sgoodies. | made fruit
pudding ice cream for you, have it as a snack before dinner."
"Okay," Anderson followed Cecelia out.
Passing through the living room, he called for Alisha, and together, they went to enjoy ssnacks happily.
Joyce looked at the warm decoration throughout the room and their harmonious figures, feeling a surge of warmth in her heart.

"When Wilson and Cullen are discharged and chome, we'll be a complete family."
He lifted her chin. "We've delayed it for too long. Now, should we consider holding a proper wedding for both of us? As | see it,
when Wilson and Cullen turn one month old, we can have a grand wedding celebration. What do you think? This is what | owe you."
Joyce chuckled. "Who said you oweanything? | don't care. | have no interest in having a wedding, it's bothersand tiring.
Besides, we already have four children, isn't a wedding a bit embarrassing?"
