"I see," Noah muttered better understanding the decision of the system thanks to Ersha's memories.
The presence of a proper human soul would eradicate the need to tame a wild beast. When the beast hatched, it wouldn't be a wild mindless beast, but Erolia herself.
He wished she would arrive in a better circumstance, but he would settle for it. Being a tier 4 beast right after being tier 2 would be very confusing. He would need to teach her control or she could well lead to natural disasters every time.
The beast wouldn't necessarily increase in power. But since it would be Erolia and not a bird, he saw it as an advantage. If Noah could feel the excitement, he would be choking on it. Unfortunately, he couldn't. All he felt was focus and emotional emptiness.
After the gem merged with the spirit, it exploded into particles of harmless light as the egg itself gained a purple hue amongst the three other colors.
Noah watched the egg transform into a beam of light that landed on his chest and disappeared. It dived into his soul realm to reach the pillar that now existed there.
His soul energy flowed forward without his consent, and for the first time, Noah had to reconsider. It would seem his new nature had other plans. That was one of the uniqueness of being a dark Speedling.
His body could literally take decisions without him. But his will would stand were he to enforce it.
From the look of things, the beast would get stronger since even speed essence flew out of his core to submerge the egg in its volume.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe egg would undergo its transformation inside one of the best qualities of essence to exist in the whole universe. Its power would grow into levels Noah had no idea about. He could only wait and watch.
A steady stream of speed essence and his soul energy remained. Thankfully it wasn't much. Once in a while, there would be a pause to not exert him too much.
He could only wait to see the result of that rebirth.
Moving on to the other things was easy thanks to the system. Truth be told Noah still wanted to visit some basic things about him. But barely an hour had passed since he left the chamber of deep time. There was still time to do whatever he wanted.
"So what next on the list of things given to me?" Noah asked the system. It replied by explaining that most of his reward was the flexibility the system now had with him.
There were different items. Like the fact that he was allowed to choose a new weapon or the fact that the cultivation room could now mimic the chamber of Deep time. Only in a lesser way.
Most of the benefits for achieving the fourth tier were the systems themselves. His greatest inheritance. It could literally stop him from dying. Grant him impromptu skills and so on.
Noah resumed his travel in a whirlwind after the commotion of the Thunderbird. He then proceeded to spend the next few days stopping to test some of his new skills and even abilities.
Noah stood in the sky his right hand crackling with erratic blue sparks. His eyes blazed with a silver light and his very body emitted light.
He looked divine in his human form.
In his left grip was a completely white sword. Noah swung it casually and a huge white slash flew out of it to slam into the terrain and cut many meters deep. The attack was simple and effective.
Noah raised the white construct to stare at it. He waved his hand and the light that had gathered around him dispersed.
Light acted as a particle and a wave, allowing a proper method of assembling it. He raised his hand again and sparks appeared out of thin air to construct a crackling blue sword that merged with the blue sparks on his hand.
His level of understanding had grown, and the things he could achieve on his own had skyrocketed.
Gone were the days when he could only form things out of his essence. Now he could directly apply his understanding of his affinities to the world around him to separate molecules and atoms until he found the element he desired.
All the elements he desired were around him at the same time. The world was filled with them. Now he could access that realm.
Noah waved the crackling sword and watched a peal of lightning in the shape of a slash fly forward with terrible power.
Its collusion with the ground resulted in a spectacular explosion. A huge charred crater quickly became evident. But whitish-blue ice covered the black surface, cooling the environment.
Noah didn't have to move. All he required was to make his consciousness touch that area and make the temperature plunge.
This was the real might of elemental affinities. Only when individuals reached that realm could they even term themselves mages.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNevertheless, there were many evident differences in utilizing the world's elements and generating his won, directly out of his essence.
One of those differences would be that the color of the results of making the world's will bend to him. But the most would be that they didn't carry his presence.
Bending the world's will utilizing his mind essentially meant no ounce of energy left him, only that the more he did it the more stressed his mind was since it carried the full brunt of that event.
This however meant the true power of the said individual would not be at play. The world still had control over the elements, meaning the limits it set would be at play.
The results of utilizing the world's elements were mediocre to Noah so he decided to show that area, true power.
The roars of packs of beasts rushing out of the region disquieted the forest before him, but he barely had any concern for those wild beasts.
Noah raised his hand and his aura surged. Essence left him as it took the form he desired. Silver sparks crackled on Noah's right palm and he let those violent energies morph into a long sword.
Danger spread in the world at that event. Noah had built the sword fairly easily but dense, but the mere pressure it carried directly buried that of his other performance.
He waved the sword at the world before him and a blinding silver light flooded the view in front of him.
The ground shook when the huge slash arrived on it, and even Noah had to ascend higher into the sky to properly watch what happened.
Chaos unfolded in the world as an area of more than 20km radius found its trees and rivers suffering the power in that crackling slash.
The beasts that had tried to escape, died. Many prompts stating he had received exp appeared in front of him, but Noah dismissed the silver screen. The system's words continued to fill his mind, however.
The sheer commotion was great, but it only served to tell how much power he possessed. Noah knew he could launch hundreds of similarly powerful slashes. He could genuinely wipe out cities. Still, he remained uncertain whether all lower stage tier 4's were that strong, or simply him.
He concluded on simply him. He believed one would need to be in the middle stage or higher to achieve that level of potency.
