She was told that he was traveling abroad, nothing else. This made her nervous as she assumed that Nathaniel had gone on a secret mission. So, she went to Nathaniel's office. Since she was his assistant, she was authorized to enter his floor. This made other staff members speculate, but dared not raise their questions in public. They remembered how Nathaniel had sent his human resource manager and his nicce to jail after what happened at the previous auction with Freya. Since Freya owned ten percent of the company's shares, this technically meant that she was also one of their bosses. They had started to treat Freya differently, almost as if they were trying to grow closer to her.
Apparently the CEO's assistant had their own office too and it was located beside the CEO's office. Freya was no exception too as her office was close to Koen's office and it was a few paces away from the CEO's office. As Freya entered her office, she looked at the new office supplies and it was a completely different office than the one she had on the twenty-eighth floor. Instead of the traditional red wood furniture, she had a more modern design. There was a lounge area and the walls were painted green. There was a couch and a European style coffee table. After briefly reanganging the stuff, she put down her laptop and walked out of her office.
So, Taylor got out of the lounge. He was a responsible bodyguard and took his job seriously. He asked, “Are you heading out, Ms. Freya?" "No. Just rest. I'll head over to the CEO office to grab something." However, Taylor paused and did not seem like he was leaving.
