Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Han opened his eyes in the void and he looked around him calmly as he saw the familiar dark environment. He couldn’t believe how long it has been since he last came here! The last time he came here was when he was looking for Ratte on all the floors and Dorea called him to give him a tip! That was almost a year ago! Han looked forward and he saw that Dorea was bowing to him at ninety degrees. Han was surprised for a moment but then he blinked in realization! He wasn’t Han right now. That’s true, I’m Taurus. I’m the son of the leader of the Xian and there is no way that Dorea would be able to know that I am actually Han! It’s only natural that she would show the utmost respect to one of the Celestials.

“Lord Taurus, I hope your training was eventful. I haven’t heard from you in a long time and I was getting worried,”

Dorea wasn’t the one that said this, instead, it was another woman that spoke from the side. This woman had orange hair and blue eyes. She had a calm aura surrounding her and her long white dress was very similar to the one that Han was wearing. Han immediately knew that this was a Celestial. She looked as beautiful as Dyana! The woman was inclining her head a little as she spoke to Taurus. Her ranking in the Celestial plane was lower than Taurus and so she showed him respect as well.

Her name was Penelope and she was the woman that was placed in charge of handling Dorea after Han killed the scientist! She was a celestial that was also from the Xian Race and she had a great amount of respect for Taurus! Han was able to get all this information from Taurus’ memories and he greeted Penelope with the same nonchalance that the real Taurus would always do! Penelope gained a small smile on her face. Han watched closely to see if there would be any sort of reaction from her. Did she see through the act? Did she suspect me? But there was nothing at all and Han nodded internally as he relaxed.

Penelope didn’t notice any difference in Han at all and she was just happy that she got to meet Taurus. Taurus and Penelope were close and to her, he was the most amazing person in the world! Penelope could feel the power coming from Taurus and it was enormous! It was almost blinding! Penelope always knew that he was a brilliant cultivator since he was already in the GrandMaster realm of cultivation but this is too much! He has to have gotten past that stage now! He might be in the Saint Realm by now!

Penelope didn’t know that the power she felt coming from Taurus right now was Han’s power. Han’s power was stronger than the Saint Realm of the Xian and he always tries to suppress his power so that he doesn’t destroy everything around him! But Penelope just thought that this power was all from Taurus!_.

Penelope didn’t suspect a thing because Taurus went to the Temple to train and he would surely be in the Saint realm by now if he wasn’t killed by Han! His cultivation speed was very strong for a Xian! Penelope always idolized Taurus to the extreme and for her, just talking to him was like a blessing! Penelope was also a Xian but she was only at the Peak Foundation stage! She couldn’t even hold a candle to Taurus and she was a little jealous of that fact. She knew that Taurus was a genius cultivator and she shouldn’t be comparing herself to him, but she couldn’t help it! They were both the same age and get he was growing at an unbelievable rate! How can he be in the saint Realm when she is only in the peak foundation stage? It was very unfair! This just shows that lineage and talent play a very big part in your growth.

Penelope looked to the side and she saw Gretha standing calmly at the side. This was the servant that Taurus took with him to the celestial plane. Why is she standing alone? Where are the rest of them? I remember that Taurus took five servants with him to help him when he left the celestial plane. Did something happen to them?

Penelope asked Taurus where his other servants were and Han calmly answered that killed them. He didn’t bother giving any other explanation because it wasn’t necessary! Penelope just nodded to show that she understood. It was a normal thing to kill servants in the celestial plane. If a servant annoys her master then it is only right that the servant dies. A little mistake from a servant was enough for them to lose their life! The servants were only mortals that were granted a chance to join the celestial plane so their lives didn’t matter! Penelope looked at Dorea with a glare as she thought about this. If only I can kill this annoying servant as well I wouldn’t have to stay here and watch over her all the time!

Just like all the other mortals that were granted the chance to go to the celestial plane, Dorea was also a mortal that gained the chance to join the celestial plane. To them, she would never be equal because she was only a mortal The only reason why they kept her alive all this time is because of how convenient her power was! She was nothing more than a means of convenient transport that still has some use!

Dorea noticed the stare that Penelope was giving her and she knew exactly what was on Penelope’s mind! Dorea knew that none of the celestials see her as an equal and that the only reason she was alive is that she was still of some use to them! If not for the fact that she can transport people across dimensions, she would have been killed a long time ago! She really regrets accepting their offer all those years ago!

Dorea made sure she stayed silent as she waited for Taurus to say something. She knew that Taurus was one of the people who didn’t like her.

The members of the Xian Race were all snubs and Taurus was no different! He would insult her and sneer at her at every chance he gets! But this time, it was strange when she didn’t see a sneer on his lips when he looked at her. Taurus gave her a gentle nod and she furrowed her brow in intense confusion. What the… ? Taurus looked back at Penelope before Dorea could really figure out what just happened and she was left shocked as she tried to understand his motives! Did he just smile at her!? What could it mean!? Taurus has never smiled at her in the hundreds of years that she has known him! Dorea suddenly had a thought and her eyes widened in dread! Did Taurus fall in love with her!? No. This is bad! There was nothing that Dorea could do if Taurus was in love with her! He was the son of the leader of a race of celestials and she was only a glorified servant. He can just demand to get compliance! Shit, this is bad!

Taurus looked towards Penelope and he camly asked her for some privacy

“Can you excuse us for some time, Penelope? There are some things I need to talk to Dorea about. It won’t take long,”

Penelope was surprised by the request. Taurus wanted to talk to Dorea? About what!? What could be there to talk about with Dorea!? Dorea was only a slave and Taurus was basically a prince! What do a prince and a slave have to talk about!? But the way that Taurus spoke made her realize that he was very serious. Penelope knew that he was her superior and she is supposed to follow his orders so she was in a serious dilemma now! She was Dorea’s handler! She was the one that made sure that Dorea never did anything that could cause problems for the celestials and her job is to watch over Dorea at all times! Can I really leave my job post like this!? Won’t it be bad if someone finds out that I left like this!?

Penelope was about to tell Taurus that she was sorry but she couldn’t go, but Taurus suddenly have her an intense look! For the first time in her life, Penelope understood the meaning of a cold look! Taurus’ stare fixed her in place! It looked like it could have rendered oceans to ice!

Taurus has never looked at her like that before! Penelope has grown up beside Taurus and she has never seen him perform such a cold look in her life!

Of course, Taurus wasn’t the one that was glaring at her, Han was! Han’s stare was intense enough to make anyone flinch! Han had used this stare to make gods flinch in shock and someone like Penelope would not be able to handle it! Han was happy when Penelope took a step back before she bowed and finally started to walk away. Good. She isn’t a fool. If she didn’t do as I said, I wouldn’t have thought twice before I killed her. It would take a while for people to find her body and I can still finish what I want to do before they find her body.

Once Penelope was gone, Taurus looked back at Dorea and he saw how guarded she was! He has never seen her look so stiff! Dorea looked like a soldier that was about to walk into a minefield!

“Are you okay?”

“Can you tell me what you have to speak to me about? I have to get back to work soon,”

An obvious lie and Han knew it! Work!? What work!? Dorea had the power to see through dimensions and she can pull any living or dead thing through the dimensions at will! You can do all these things with your eyes closed and there would still be no mistake on your part! You aren’t even remotely busy! This realization made Han surprised! Was Dorea scared of Fairs? I wonder what sort of relationship they had before now. It looks like she really doesn’t like him.

“You’re still as intense as ever aren’t you? I wonder where that upbeat woman that welcomed me all those years ago went to!”

Dorea’s brow furrowed and she immediately tried to think of the first time she met Taurus! It was two hundred years ago and she was called to open a gate for him to go into the temple for the first time. He wanted to find the perfect spot for his cultivation and he demanded that he was going to help him with it! Dorea remembered thinking that he acted like a child. Back then, she was very formal with him and she tried her best to perform her duties properly. She wasn’t even trying to impress him! But now, she realized that Taurus was impressed! He fell in love with her that day! Dorea was flattered! She was flattered, but she closed her hands into fists and released a small sigh as she spoke. She hoped he wouldn’t get angry because of this.

“I understand your feelings, Taurus, and I’m flattered beyond belief. But I’m sorry to say that my heart already belongs to another. It might be insulting to you, but I do not wish to betray him, please can you understand?”

The way Dorea said it made Han think she was some sort of high school girl turning down a confession from an eager senior! Han was shocked!? How the hell did we get to this point again!? I have no idea what’s going on! But even though he was shocked, there was this feeling inside of him that made his chest swell and he could stop the grin on his face! To think that Dorea would turn down a celestial because of him! He must be the luckiest man in the world if his women love him this much!

Han put his hand on his back and stretched a little as he spoke. Dorea saw how calm he still was and she was happy that he wouldn’t attack her. She thought that her life was over once she refused him! But her shock only doubled when she heard what he said next!

“I’m not talking about all that, although I think I should be the one flattered by this devotion. You’re almost making me blush~ But I would have liked it if you greeted me with that maid costume again. It was the best sight that virgin me had ever seen on a woman!”

Dorea furrowed her brow! Maid costume!? What the hell!? When did I ever wear that for him!? I have only worn that for… It clicked into place at the same time that Taurus gave her a very Han-Like smile and she took a step back in shock!

“Han!!”

“Haha! So you’re a hugger, eh!?”

Han laughed at her as he accepted her hug and she had to join him as well! This speaking pattern can only belong to Han! There is no way that uptight Taurus would even think of talking like this! What the hell was he doing here?
