I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World
Chapter 304 - Albion's ReturnElf Tribe of Elvaraden
Shortly after the Heavenly Tribulation and Dark Lord disappeared inside the spatial rift with no clear indications of returning, the entire elf tribe was mobilized to extinguish the fire and aid the World Tree's recovery.
With the help of elven spells, the World Tree's terrible state quickly improved for the better.
The chaos died down, and peace within the tribe was quickly restored.
But not long after the Elf King passed down a royal decree, the short peace enjoyed by the elves was disturbed once more.
Elven troops quickly arrived at the Willow's Secret, the first princess's business, and surrounded the establishment, demanding Princess Floria to hand over the Dark Lord's accomplice.
However, contrary to everyone's expectations, Princess Floria refused the order, which put the soldiers in a difficult position and stuck at an impasse.
The doors of Willow's Secret were shut tight with no business in operation, and an entire night quickly passed as the situation remained as such.
…
"Wouldn't it be better to hand over the wolf-girl, Your Highness? Your choice to defy the king's orders doesn't put you in a favorable position. Everyone sees the Dark Lord as an enemy after what happened to the World Tree. You protecting the wolf-girl is…"
The attendants within Willow's Secret began questioning the first princess's decision, persuading her to rethink her choice.
However, Princess Floria shook her head at their words.

To go against someone who can take on the Heavenly Tribulation with ease is utter stupidity," Princess Floria stated.
The attendants' shoulders trembled as they glanced left and right, fearing that a third party may have overheard the first princess's words.
"Not only are you openly defying the High Majesty's royal decree, but you are also criticizing his decision. If Your Highness wasn't of royal blood, this maid is afraid that the king would have already beheaded you for it, Your Highness."
The two attendants standing behind Princess Floria sweated at her boldness.
Nevertheless, Princess Floria's expression was unperturbed as she watched Fenriri eat breakfast at the same table yesterday without caring for the world.
"If it means saving the rest of the tribe from extinction, I won't regret getting killed for what I am doing," Princess Floria stated firmly.
"It is clear that my father is not in his right mind. He has been beguiled by that succubus in human skin. None of his decisions make any sense, but I'm sure my father still has a shred of reason within him, which is why he hadn't ordered the soldiers to force their way in yet."
"No matter what, it has already been an entire night. This maid is afraid that the king's patience with Your Highness will not last much longer," one of the attendants argued.
Although the attendants understood Princess Floria's reason, they feared for her safety.

…
As the status quo remained in the early morning of the elf tribe, a spatial rift suddenly reappeared in the sky before spitting Albion out and disappearing shortly after.
Albion was immediately surprised by the time of the day.
Although he was only entered the chaotic space and time region for a short moment, an entire Earth night seemed to have passed during that timeframe.
Nevertheless, he did not dwell on the matter and shoved everything related to the Nine Divine Heavens to the back of his mind.
"Y-you! Why have you come back here?!" the World Tree was alarmed by Albion's presence.
Its sudden cry caused Albion to smile as he descended onto one of its burnt branches and made himself at home by taking a seat on the spot and patting it like they were best buddies.
If their close proximity could result in the summoning of another Heavenly Tribulation, it would be beneficial for Albion, though not so much for the World Tree.

Spiritual Energy: 100000/100000
The Heavenly Tribulation was a great way to farm divine energy from the Nine Divine Heavens without entering it.
"I told you that I would at least come and greet you every morning, so I'll right start away. Morning Woody!" Albion cheerily patted the World Tree as he burst into laughter, "Hahaha!"
"…"
If the spirit of the World Tree could display human expressions, its forehead would be filled with dark lines at that moment.
"Why are you saying it like that? Why aren't you separating the two words with a comma? How dare you make fun of my name again? This name was given to me by the one who planted me and gave me so much love and care! I will not tolerate such disrespect!"

"I don't know how much that person loved and cared for you when you were just a seed, but I'm sure that person didn't put any love and care in naming you! Even so, I must say that the name is quite appropriate. After all, the world will see such a hard and erected tree standing tall first thing in the morning."
Albion's words could not be any more obvious.
Although the World Tree's spirit wasn't knowledgeable regarding human slangs, it was aware that 'Morning Woody' meant something vulgar.
"Arghhh! I'm going to kill you, True Immortal!" the World Tree was incensed.
However, Albion suddenly slapped down on its charcoal branch with a powerful force that rippled down its entire body and shook off some loose leaves.
"Pipe down, will ya?"
"Yessir…"
The World Tree became meek and tamed after recalling who was stronger between them. It could only swallow its grievance.
"Tis but a small joke. No need to get so mad, alright?" Albion consoled it.
"…Yessir."
…
Meanwhile, the small shake of the World Tree made a number of elves in the tribe glance up with curiosity.
"Is something wrong with the Sacred Tree again?" some of them wondered obliviously.
