" I am fine. Thank you." he touched her face and realized he had smeared his blood by doing so. A few pieces were still stuck, which might hurt her, so he retracted them, but not before Liliana saw the damage.

She panicked, but Isabella acted quickly and leaned to assess the wound; she was still not a full-fledged doctor, but dealing with these types of wounds was not uncommon for a resident.

" Throw me that towel, Liliana. Bring me some alcohol from the living room display and the first aid kit!" She took charge of administering first aid. Liliana nodded and rushed inside to get the alcohol; Daniel also passed her the requested towel.

She immediately cleaned the blood, excluding the wound area, as it might get infected. Cleaning the area surrounding the wound gave her a clear view of the shards lodged in his palm.

" Should we call the ambulance?" Mateo asked.

" It should be faster if we drove there ourselves. There is a big clinic only ten blocks down east." They called their men, trying to think about the next step.

" You don't have to. It's small cuts; I just need to pull them out and wrap a bandage to stop the bleeding." Samuel demonstrated wriggling his fingers, which made the glass pieces shine in the moonlight.

" Are you insane!? We have to take you to the hospital! you will need stitches for these larger cuts!" Isabella got mad seeing him playing it cool. She was also concerned by his nonchalant attitude!

" It's fine. It's fine." He plucked the glass pieces from his hand without flinching, which worsened the bleeding.

" What the hell? You shouldn't have done that!" Samuel didn't listen to her; he had his regenerative power, which he promptly applied to stop the bleeding; it was ineffective because the foreign objects were blocking it, but it was fine now.

" Here!" Liliana came back running, presenting what they needed.

" Give me that." He took the first aid kit and started applying the care meticulously while Isabella watched from the side. His movements were fluid like he had done this countless times.

She would ask him later, but right now, she began helping him by opening certain items and preparing clean bandages from the kit. Soon they were finished with the first aid.

" See? Good as new!" Samuel showed it around, but there was a large visible blood stain on his palm which meant he was still bleeding.

" New? Are you insane? Let's get you to the hospital!" Isabella shouted; she was concerned for him.

" You should listen to her, Sami." Liliana also pleaded.

" Don't you trust me? I will go to the hospital in the morning. For now, I have few things to do." After ignoring their plea, Samuel walked toward the flower garden a few steps.

" COME OUT! NOW!" He roared, calling for someone.

And not long after, a shadowy figure appeared before him, kneeling on one knee.

" You called young Lord?" He said with his head down. The man wore a black robe which enveloped every part of his body except for a small opening in his hood. His face was also covered with an inconspicuous black mask that blended well with his robe.

""" What?""" Enrique, Daniel and Mateo had the same reaction. They didn't even know he was there until now. How long was he watching them? The security which they were proud of was rendered useless in an instant!

" you are?"

" Ninety, sir. How can I be of service?" His voice was devoid of any feelings, but there was a hint of fear in them. He just witnessed his lord's power with his own eyes; more so, he felt it head-on as he was fairly close to the table.

" Is it true?" Samuel threw the ledger toward him. It was soaked with Samuel's blood, but he was not worried about that; he needed to know how much his own people were hiding from him!

" I don't know, sir," Ninety replied seriously. Samuel knew he was fairly low in the hierarchy, as evidenced by his designation, so he wanted to know how far the news had fallen in the organization's ladder.

" Call, Zero now." Samuel gave direct order.I think you should take a look at

" But sir, it's late-" Ninety wanted to say something, but as soon as he matched Samuel's eye, he knew he could say it.

" I don't like waiting." Samuel reminded him again.

" Yes, sir." He took out his cell phone and dialled the number. As soon as it started ringing, he handed it to Samuel.

Meanwhile, near the Reyes residence, Zero was in his office reviewing some documents. He looked at the caller ID, which didn't surprise him, he had many phones, and some were designated for emergency use only, such as the one that was ringing.

He also knew about Samuel's whereabouts; it was time his boss caught up to what they were hiding.

" Hello, boss." He picked up the phone and said, fully believing it was Samuel at the other end of it.

" Did you know?" Samuel asked.

"....." Zero was silent.

" DID YOU KNOW?" He asked again.

" Yes."

" Who else knew?"

" Your team, Mr Arthur and a few of my trusted subordinates."

" We will talk later." Samuel hung up the phone without even hearing an explanation. He already knew why they possibly hid this from him, but that didn't sit well with him. Despite knowing the truth, he didn't feel any better.

He handed Ninety his phone and sent him away.

" I should be going now. I am very tired." he made up an excuse; he was not in the mood to talk anymore.

" Daniel, show the kid his room," Enrique asked him. He understood what, at some level, Samuel was going through, so he didn't want to force him to stay.

Daniel nodded and guided Samuel inside. Liliana wanted to follow him, but Isabella stopped her; she knew it was best to give him some space to think. They headed upstairs to their own room; Isabella went to the bathroom to wash off her bloody hand while Lilianna anxiously looked at Samuel's departing back.

" I never knew the kid was so..." Mateo and Enrique sat down again, pouring themselves the liquor Liliana brought.

" Powerful?" Mateo said.

" Yes, but so compassionate. I don't even know what he did earlier, but I can feel his anger seeping out like a volcano." Enrique sighed.

" You are right. I heard about fighting auras, but you rarely see them outside the warzone.... but such a young boy? What must he go through to acquire that much murderous intent?" Mateo was worried.

" I am not worried about it. My daughter trusts him, and I can see his eyes are pure; I also saw how much Isabella cared for him earlier... maybe there is a chance?" Enrique went on a weird tangent.

" Boss, I really want you to get some help. I should ask Isabella to recommend a few brain doctors!" Mateo chuckled.

" Fuck! No, last time, I played it off as a joke. She will definitely kill me this time!"
