32. The box Athena was completely ready for the party. She was wearing a red gown which she customised herself. She bought that gown using the ten dollars

out of twenty which she earned yesterday. She earned sixty dollars today by working there but she didn’t

want to make any extra expenses and wanted to save money.

So, what she did is, bought a simple red gown from the thrift store. Then she bought some red chiffon

nets, some laces, red pearls, glue and a few more things.

Then she returned back home and started to customise it. It was a normal maxi gown with no cut, no

body fitting. It had lousy sleeves.

So, the first thing she did was get rid of those sleeves as she planned to make it sleeveless. Then she

gave it a long cut until her lower thigh and fitted it according to her perfect body figure. It has a

sweetheart neckline. So, she didn’t bother that much.

After that, she started to make it pretty. She implanted the pearls on the borders of the sleeves, neck and

cut on the leg. Then she attached the net over the cut, just at the place where the cut started from, she

didnt sew it completely. So, whenever she walks, it will move and her long legs will be visible. But at the

same time, as it was a see through net, her legs will still be visible when she doesn’t walk.

It was an absolute piece of art which she made from trash. She was looking absolutely stunning with the

beautiful magic Suzanne did on her face and hair. She was wearing red lipstick and her shiny long

golden blonde hair was curled and kept open.

She looked like an absolute goddess!

But none of that mattered to her as this night was really important for her. She had a lot to do today, so

she doesn’t have time to think about all this. Today she was going to face her past which was unaware of

all these years. At the same time her life was in danger tonight.

could have proved deadly for her. She almost died when he rejected her that day. If she hadn’t attacked

She had been looking at it way too much, as if expecting something.

Suddenly her phone rang, which brought her out of the thoughts. She looked at the screen, expecting

Suzanne’s call. They are all at the party venue. The ritual starts in less than one hour.

She was still at Suzanne’s house while Ace was in the hall as well. She heard that he was wearing a

tuxedo and was very excited to see him in this. She was sure that he looked very cute and handsome in

“Sure. Wait for me.” She said with a smirk before walking out the mansion toward the back forest of the

pack house.

She soon reached there and found Robert standing behind a large tree. She looked at her left and at her

right before walking toward him with a satisfied smirk.

“Good to see you again, bitch.” Robert said with a smirk as soon as he saw her. Her smirk turned devilish

a s soon as he heard him.

He always used to call her bitch. She grew up hearing that from his mouth and every time she used to

hear that, her blood boiled in fury.

“Wish I could say the same about you, Robert. But I could say that I will make you regret calling me that.”

She said with a smirk.

He frowned at her in hesitation. He knew that she always kept her words. He didn’t have much time to

bargain with her. So, he decided to go with her demand today and brought our a small box from his back

and forwarded it toward her,

“You will find everything here. Almost all your answers but the rest you will have to find yourself by

connecting the dots. The locket on your neck will help a lot as well.” He said while pointing at the locket o

n her shoulder. She looked down at it before looking at the box in her hands. She was nervous and

confused. She held her whole life in her hands. “Now it’s your turn. Give me the cards.” He demanded

with forwarded hands.

“About that…” She trailed off with a smirk, “Guards?” She called and his eyes widened when he saw two

guards coming out of nowhere and walking toward him with anger filled eyes.

“What the fuck is this, bitch?! You said you will keep your words!” He shouted as those guards caught

him before he could run.

“I did keep my words. Think again. I said I will make you pay for calling me bitch. I kept my word!” She

said with a smirk before turning around to leave.

“You, bitch! I will make you pay for this!” He shouted in anger while struggling to break free from the

hands of the guards. She turned around to look at him once again. Her smile was more sinister than the

last time.

“One more little piece of information. Shame on you for knowing me enough. I have been brought up by

you, you shouldn’t have trusted me.” She said with a smirk. “Now excuse me, I am getting late for the

party.” Saying that, she turned around to leave for Dominic’s house first to keep the box safe.

“Now it was time for the party, Athena. You can do this.” She whispered to herself, before walking inside

the party, with her head held high.
