Chapter 966 The Mysterious Man Hawk
In Leovaria, deep in the mountains near the border, a large expanse of poppy fields stood. In the center of it all,
inside a white villa, a man sat on the second-floor terrace, looking up at the sky. He held a tall glass in one hand
while the other grasped a box of white powder-like substance. Lost in thought, he gazed at the ordinary yet
extraordinary fields below.
"Hawk, there are more and more people involved in this case. Are we really not considering giving up a part of it?"
A man was speaking not far from the balcony, and his face could not hide his anxiety.
"I remember Adam saying before that this case is not so complicated," Hawk spoke calmly, with only a silhouette
that made it difficult to guess his emotions.

on the balcony railing, one could still feel his majesticness.
The man was speechless and unconsciously broke out in a cold sweat for Adam. "It wasn't very complicated at that
time, but later, a lot of things happened, and things went out of control, which was beyond everyone's expectation."
Hearing this, Hawk on the balcony suddenly chuckled, but there was not much warmth in his laughter, making
people feel cold. "You didn't expect that? In our line of work, such reactions won't do..."
After hearing this, the man felt like he had seen a ghost. He quickly lowered his head and didn't dare to look at
Hawk. His palms and back were instantly covered with a layer of cold sweat. "I'll definitely give you a satisfactory
explanation for this matter, Hawk!"
"Do you want me to believe you again?" Hawk finally made a move. He turned around slightly, walked into the room
against the sun, and stood in front of the man. "Really?"
Perhaps this sentence made the man feel a glimmer of hope. He looked up at the face before him, so close and full
of vitality. It was a perfect face of a mixed-blood individual, seemingly harmless if one didn't look into his eyes. But
once one locked eyes with him, they would discover how dangerous he truly was.
He was like a dormant leopard, ready to pounce at any time.
The man couldn't help shivering. "Give me another chance, Hawk. I'll handle it well!"
"If I give you a chance, who will bear the consequences of my loss? How can I justify myself to others?" Hawk's
gaze intensified, and a mere glance from him was suffocating.
"But, but, since things have come to this point..."
"This point?" Hawk laughed as if he had heard a big joke. He laughed wildly and unscrupulously. After laughing, he
didn't even give the man a chance to react. He pointed the black muzzle at the man's head and said, "Are you
trying to say that I have no choice but to believe you at this point? You should know that I hate being threatened by

Feeling the cold muzzle against his forehead, the man realized how fragile life was at that moment. His legs nearly
gave out, and he quickly raised his hands above his head, hurriedly speaking, "That's not what I meant! I would
never dare! I just wanted to salvage the previous losses as much as possible!"
Hawk narrowed his eyes dangerously. "What if you can't save it?"
The man was speechless for a moment, but he knew what he had to say at this time. A few seconds later, he
gritted his teeth, pointed to his head, and said, "If it can't be salvaged, there's no need for you to personally do it..."
"Putting a life at stake, huh..." Hawk's remark resonated, weighing heavily on a life. Just as the man was on the
verge of crumbling under the eerie atmosphere, Hawk finally moved the gun away. "This time, I'll go there
personally, and you'll follow me. It won't be as simple as taking a single bullet if anything goes wrong!"
"Got it, sir!"
