Chapter 444 Are You Crazy?
“Is your grandpa doing alright these days?” she asked, smiling sweetly.
Alec thought her smile was making things weirder. He nodded. “He’s fine. Do you want to see him?
“Yes. I want to ask him something.” But Jenny didn’t tell him what it was. Alec knew nothing, so she felt
that it was unnecessary.
Alec didn’t ask, either. “Should I accompany you to the Old Mansion once we landed?”
“Let’s give it a few days.” Jenny had a lot of things waiting for her in Parrington. She had to tell the
Walkers about the place she had picked out for them and see if Stephanie’s parents had anything to say
about it. And since she was going back, she’d have to go to work. Morgan said that a lot of people were

catch her breath.
Alec didn’t force her to do anything. “Alright. Call me when you want to see him. I’m good with anything.”
“Thank you.” Jenny could also go and see him by herself, but since she and Alec had broken up, it would
be inappropriate to do so.
Alec wasn’t happy hearing her thank him. “Must you be so polite with me? Are you me, Jenny?” still

Jenny smiled, saying nothing. Some things couldn’t be believed, even if there were explanations. And
some things couldn’t be forgiven even if they were believed. Lying was objectively wrong. Alec had
nowhere to vent his anger. He merely turned his head away, suppressing it.
The plane suddenly dipped, scaring everyone. A scream sounded in the cockpit.
The flight attendants hurried to comfort the passengers, saying it was just turbulence. They urged
everyone to stay in their seats.
“Turbulence?” Jenny frowned. She looked at the sunset outside the window, deep in thought.
The passengers calmed down quickly. Alec, Jenny, and the others were in the first-class cabin. They
were closest to the cockpit. They could clearly see a flight attendant walking anxiously toward it.
She knocked on the door and asked if the pilot was alright, but no one answered.
The flight attendant was a little nervous. Jenny sat upright. Her instincts were never wrong when it came
to danger.
She walked toward the cockpit. “What’s wrong?” she asked calmly.

her best to keep calm.
Jenny didn’t move. She looked at the cockpit, which was closed shut. “Something has probably
happened in there. How many people are inside?”
*Just the pilot and the co-pilot,” another flight attendant replied.
Someone else chimed in, “Julie is in there, too. She was giving them coffee.”
*Julie?” Jenny frowned. Before she could ask about Julie, the door opened.
Julie walked out, holding a gun and looking at everyone coldly. “Sit down quietly in the rest area. I don’t
want to point my gun at my dear colleagues.” She smiled giddily at them. Paired with the gun in her
hand, she looked like the Joker.
The flight attendants seemed too stunned to respond. Someone, who was friends with Julie, blurted out,
“Julie, what are you doing? Are you crazy?”
