"Jace beat up Clarice?" Justin repeated coldly, his tone sharp.
Drew quickly wiped his eyes and listened closely.
"Yes! He landed a solid punch on her! I saw it clearly in the surveillance footage. It was brutal!" lan exhaled sharply, releasing pent- up frustration. "I always thought they were close, like two peas in a pod, but it looks like trouble is brewing in their little paradise." lan then floated a daring theory. "Mr. Salvador, do you think Jace might be our breakthrough? Is it possible he's been at odds with Clarice for a while, or perhaps he's grown tired of working under Grant? All he might need is a nudge to turn against them. After all, wasn't it Yvonne's hatred of Christopher's past actions that made her join our side?" Justin neither affirmed nor dismissed the theory. Instead, he responded, "Your suggestion might be true, but we can't say for sure. People's motivations can be hard to pin down. We've only interacted with Jace a handful of times, and they were all high-stakes situations. I'm honestly not sure what he's truly thinking." lan sighed before asking anxiously, "Mr. Salvador, the press conference ising up in just two days. Do you have a plan? Are we just going to let Grant stir up trouble? To be honest, Dr. Wagner's statement alone may not be enough. The blood test results are legitimate and valid. We need another way to prove your innocence!" "lan, thank you," Justin replied, catching lan off guard and leaving him momentarily speechless.

"Mr. Salvador, I'm not tired! I don't want to take a break!" lan protested fervently.
The reality was, after Justin lost his position as president, lan had decided he would stick with him no matter what, even if he never earned another penny.
lan, who used to be all about money, did not care about that anymore. All he wanted was to be by Justin's side.
He was afraid that Justin's suggestion to take a break was a sign he was about to get fired. No way was he going to rest! "Don't worry, I'm not getting rid of you," Justin reassured him.
Justin picked up on lan's thinking right away. He smirked as he spoke, "But I really can't stand seeing you show up here every morning with puffy eyes, then sneak off to sob in the corner when no one's around.
"Those who know the truth would just think you're missing your girlfriend. Those who don't might wonder if I did something to you. Go home, pull yourself together and thene back to work." en.kikistories Hearing this left lanpletely mortified, feeling as though he could die on the spot from embarrassment.
He had thought his longing for Rachel was well-hidden, and his crying barely audible, but apparently that was not the case.

That he's starting. remember who he used to be?" en.kikistories QUMS et He continued, "I believe Hugh lost his memory after the plane crash and has been manipulated by Grant ever since. But even so, how can the natural kindness of a good person bepletely erased? Grant wants to drag Hugh into darkness, to make him an aplice. He even tried to use Hugh to harm us, to pit us against our own family. He's despicable, utterly evil!" en.kikistories Justin stared out into the vast, quiet night, deep in thought.
It was interesting that Jace had decided to stop Clarice's car on the snight Yvonne disappeared, and even went so far as to attack Clarice.
"Perhaps Hugh's conscience has already begun to awaken. But for sreason, he still can't break free from Grant's control." After a moment of silence, Justin's eyes flickered with a glint of determination.
"Drew, what I'm about to say might not be easy to hear, but listen to me. Hugh must remain by Grant's side. Only then will we have a chance to rescue Yvonne." Drew narrowed his eyes, feeling an ache in his chest.
He understood all too well what Justin meant.
Attacking from the outside was one thing, but for the plan to succeed, they needed someone on the inside to help them. Otherwise, success was far from guaranteed.
With Yvonne still in captivity, enduring who-knows-what kind of torment, the stakes were unbearably high.
If Jace has truly turned his back on Grant and Clarice, perhaps he could secretly lend Yvonne a hand.
