For the past month, | have been getting threats and they're increasing, makingfear for my life. I'm not the
only one who is scared. My family and Silas are also scared fortoo. They don't leaveon my own and
extra security has been installed in my apartment. The only tI'm without Silas or my family is when I'm in
class and | have to give them constant updates that I'm okay or they will freak out.
The police haven't been able to track the messages | have been receiving, saying that the location keeps
changing and other excuses | don't remember. I'm too stressed and want nothing but to put an end to this mess.
"Rosie," Dad says as he takes a seat beside me. I'm currently hfor the weekend and so is Silas, but he's
spending stwith his family since he hasn't seen them in two weeks.
"Yeah." | look at him. | have a feeling that he has something new to say about the whole stalker thing.
"| hired a private detective to look into the messages you have been receiving and he is coming in a couple of
hours," he informsand | deeply inhale. "I'm done with depending on the police. | should have taken this step
weeks ago." "Do you think he will be able to help?" | ask, pulling my knees to my chest.
"He's the best at his job, Rosie," Dad assures me. He opens his arms forand | instantly crawl into his
embrace. | have always been a daddy's girl, even more than Lily. "I promise | will put an end to this." Dad kisses
my head, makingsmile. "Please/do, because I'm super done with all of this," | heavily sigh.

| get up from my place and head to the kitchen to help Mum out a bit. Lily is already with her. It's been a while
since | last spent twith the two of them.
"Can you find a role for me?" | say as | approach them.

Although | have a stalker who is disturbing my peace of mind, I'm grateful for the positive changes that have
taken place during the past month. Silas and | are back together. My memory is finally back and | guess | now
remember everything. Whenever they talk toabout something, | find myself aware of what they're talking
about. I'm starting to hang out more with Caroline, Alexa and Natalie again. Not only them, but I have actually
hung out with Maisie too.
As for Silas, he has been treatinglike a princess. Despite everything, he has been trying to make the most
out of the twe're spending together. From movie nights to all sorts of dates, he has spared no effort to make

An hour later, the detective comes and checks everything he needs to conduct his investigation. He looks like he
knows what he's doing and I'm hopeful, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up; | want to avoid any sort of
disappointment that can be avoided. When he leaves, | call Silas to give him updates. "Why didn't you tell me? |
could have been there for you," he tells me. | have already expected to hear that from him.

We're going back to our apartments tomorrow. Each of us still has their own apartment, but we always stay

"Maybe seven. Mum will killif | leave before having dinner with them." He chuckles, knowing how Mum has

"I miss you too. I'm used to sleeping next to you now," | mumble. | need to get used to not having him around
because he won't be around next year withat uni. Luckily, the team he has signed with is in California, but
that doesn't mean that he's going to be near. "I will give you the best cuddles tomorrow night," he promises me
and a foolish grin gets drawn on my lips. We keep talking for another hour, disussing anything and everything.
"Go get ssleep, cupcake. Goodnight," Silas says when | yawn. I'm getting sleepy.
"Yeah. | need to go to bed," | murmur, already closing my eyes. "Goodnight." It doesn't takea lot of tto
fall asleep.

Silas and | have been working on our assignments for the past hour while munching on the snacks in front of us.
Since the football season has cto an end, Silas has been focusing more on his classes. | love that about him.
He is very responsible and doesn't want football to be the only thing he knows in life. He is aware that if he ever
needs a good job, he has a position in his family's business, but he hates getting handed things on a silver
platter. That's why he has been working hard and focusing on his degree. As we're studying, my phone rings.
Dad is calling me. "It's Dad," | tell Silas before answering.
"Hi Dad," | say, doodling in the notebook in front of me. "You did? So are you coming now?... Okay, I'm waiting for
you." | hang up and look at Silas who is eyeingwith curiosity.
"Looks like the detective is really good. It's only been four days and he has important information," | fill him in.
"He's coming with Dad in two hours."
