"Bren, why don't you give it a try first?" Joe generously offered as he noticed how Brennon struggled to hide his
hunger.
"You don't have to worry about me. I've already had breakfast." Brennon returned to his desk. He couldn't help
but glance at the porridge on the table when he turned around. How could such a simple breakfast be so
appetizing?
Before he could take his seat, the slurping sound resounded from his back. In addition to the smell, Brennon
couldn't resist the temptation anymore.

He summoned Alexander to the office through a phone call. In less than ten minutes, hurried footsteps could be
heard from beyond the door. A flustered Alexander was back in the office.
Ever since Matthew took over the building, his mother-in-law had been gearing up for the opening. The place was
completely renovated into a breakfast shop, namely S&L's Breakfast, in just a few days. Yet, they seemed to
struggle with the sales on their first day of business. There were less than ten customers in total.
"Sasha, do you think the price is too high? Why aren't there any customers?"
The sight of fewer customers worried her mother.
"Mom, don't worry. Matthew said he spent a lot of tcoming up with these recipes. Considering the cost, that
is the lowest we can offer. Besides, you've tried 'em. Not only do they taste good, but they have the nutrients we
need. Relax."
Although her daughter was telling the truth, Helen was still anxious. After all, there were hardly any customers
dropping in since morning. She had lost confidence.
The waiting continued until noon. Helen had given up at this point. It was this late, so there probably wouldn't be
any more customers.
Just as despair settled in her, a large group of white collars crushing over from a distance. "Hey, we'll have
a serving of your porridge each."
The sudden arrival of the crowd surprised her.

After Joe drank a cup of it, he went from being drowsy to a lively man. He performed perfectly at the financing
