Reese was shocked, speechless and conflicted in her heart, her brows creasing deeply.
Lukas' eyes flickered slightly, and he reached out to ruffle her hair: "So, don't defy me, understand?"
Reese was frustrated inside. Who did he think he was, the president of the freedom world? She wasn't going to
just obey him!
With a cold expression, Reese replied with irritation, "I don't understand! And | don't want to understand!"
Lukas hadn't anticipated this reaction from her. His handsface turned slightly cold: "Reese, you said last
night that you wouldn't refuse anything | suggest. Could it be that you've forgotten your own words so soon? Got
an amnesia after just a night passed?"
Reese's breath caught, was he using her words against her? This despicable man!

She glared at him in anger, then opened the door and walked straight towards his
car.

He walked over with a smile, opened the door, and got into the car.
Emily sat in the passenger seat, a vexed expression on her face, her gaze fixed on the road ahead.

As Reese stewed in her irritation, she suddenly saw Lukas approaching her. The distance between them closed
instantly.
Reacting instinctively, Reese reached out to push Lukas away: "What are you doing?"
Hearing her nervous voice, Lukas found it somewhat amusing: "Buckle your seatbelt! What's wrong? What did
you think I will do?"
Lukas' gaze held a hint of a smile, as if saying, "I know exactly what you're thinking."
Reese blushed; maybe his frequency of unexpected kisses over the past couple of days had affected her
thoughts.
Her inner thoughts were exposed, and Reese felt embarrassed: "Have you been watching too many love
s? What could | possibly be thinking? Do | really have to wear the seatbelt like that?"
