Julius’ heart softened. In his eyes, Sarah had always been kind to him.
She handed him a bottle. “This is a drink | made. Take it to your dad. If you do that, I'll forgive you, and we can
still be good friends. How does that sound?”
Julius took the bottle, a little unsure. “Is it really just a drink?”
“Of course,” she said, nodding. “You know how much | care about your dad. | wouldn’t do anything to hurt him.
It's just a drink, nothing more.”
Julius frowned. “But why not give it to him yourself?”
Sarah sighed, her face briefly showing ssadness. “Your dad and | had a fight. He hasn't forgivenyet, and
| want to make things right. You give it to him first, and then I'll go talk to him.”
Julius’ doubts faded away. He nodded seriously. “Okay, I'll do it.”
Sarah smiled warmly, “Thanks, Julius. You're a good boy.”
As soon as Julius walked away with the bottle, her smile disappeared, replaced by a cold, calculating expression.
She took out her phone and made a call. “Keep an eye on Arthur. Make sure he drinks it, then guide him to the
room we've set
up.”

Arthur, trusting him completely, took the cup and took a sip. His brow furrowed. “It tastes a little strange.

After he left his father, he tossed the cup into the trash without giving it another thought.
