Chapter 383 Confessing Everything
Julius sent a message to Sarah, asking where she was. After receiving her reply, he soon found her in a lounge.
“Ms. Miller.” He greeted her politely.
Sarah smiled warmly, taking his hand as she sat beside him on the couch. “Julius, you look so handstoday.”
Julius smiled back and said, “You look beautiful as always.”
“Ms. Miller, there's something | need to talk to you about,” he said, his tone suddenly serious.
Sarah raised an eyebrow. “Oh? What's on your mind?”
With a straight face, Julius looked at her and said, “Please don’t like my dad anymore.”
Sarah blinked, clearly taken aback. “Julius, why would you say that? Did someone tell you something? You know,
your dad and | have been together for a long time. If it weren't for sthings that happened, | would've been
your stepmother already.”

“That's not possible.” Julius immediately shook his head.
“If you and my dad had been together that long, | wouldn't be his son. I'm my mom and dad's kid.”

Chapter 383 Confessing Everything — Sarah's eyes flickered for a moment, but she kept her voice soft. “Julius,
did someone really say something to you?”
“No,” he replied firmly. “This is what | think. Ms. Miller, my dad is married now and he loves my mom. | don’t
want them to get divorced, so please, don’t like him anymore. It's wrong to break up families, and being a
mistress isn’t right.”
At his words, Sarah’s smile faltered, but she forced herself to ask. “But... didn’t you likebefore? You even
calledMom.”
Julius’ brows furrowed in frustration. “That doesn’t count. | was
sick back then.”
He had always wanted Charlotte to be by his side, but instead, he had done so many things that made her upset,
pushing her further and further away.
Sarah's face softened for a moment, but the hurt was clear in her eyes. “Julius, so... you hatenow? | thought
we were friends. | thought we had a bond. You even gaveyour kindergarten award and calledto tell you
bedtstories.”
Julius’ heart twisted to see her so upset. But he knew he needed to explain himself.
“Ms. Miller, I'm sorry. | gave you the award because | wanted to make my mom jealous, to get her attention. |
asked you for stories because she wouldn't do it, and | never got to hear them. | was angry.”
He looked down, guilt overtaking him. “I'm sorry, Ms. Miller. |

She had thought they shared a real connection, but it turned out he’d been using her all along to get Charlotte's
attention.
The realization hit her hard, and for a moment, she felt like she needed to pull away. This wasn’t something a
five-year-old child should be doing.
But he was only five. His mind wasn’t fully developed yet. If he were older, he wouldn't have been so honest with
her.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she whispered, “Julius, hearing you say that really hurts. | thought we could be
friends. | even imagined that, even if we couldn't be a family, we could still spend ttogether and have fun.
But now | realize you were just using me.”
