Chapter 463 Lemira couldn't help but feel a mix of surprise and satisfaction as she watched Evelina, who always seemed to hover above her like suntouchable goddess, now kneeling before her, begging for forgiveness. It was a scene she had imagined, but never truly expected to witness. The thought crossed her mind that this must be more torturous for Evelina than if she had been physically hurt.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt was clear that Caspian must have pushed Evelina to her limits for her to resort to such a public display of remorse. As Evelina knelt there, crying her eyes out, she becthe center of attention, her voice shaky with emotion. "Lemira, it's my fault that you and Caspian are at odds. Please, don't let my mistake ruin your relationship. I'll do anything if it means you won't be angry with him anymore." Lemira, standing above the kneeling Evelina, couldn't resist showing off the bruises on her arm, adding to the of the moment.
Janice, ever the protective friend, stepped forward and pushed Evelina away. "Can't you see Lemira is hurt? Save your fake apologies. The authorities won't let someone who's done wrong get off easily." Evelina, still on the ground, lowered her voice, a hint of desperation in her tone. "Lemira, what do you want from me? You hacked my phone, didn't you? Installed sspyware to snoop around?" Lemira kept her cool, seeing right through Evelina's attempt to probe her. "If I wanted to get into your phone, do you think I'd need to use spyware?" "You must have. Who else could it be?" Evelina tried to maintain her composure, but panic was setting in. After her father had warned her to be cautious about potential surveillance, she hadn't thought much of it until she actually found the spyware. Deleting her conversations with her father was a reflex born out of fear. If Lemira discovered her father was still alive and informed the Langstons, her position and plans would crumble. "Lemira, your accusations makewonder if you're trying to cover up something shady. Are you afraid I'll discover your secrets?" Lemira retorted, clearly enjoying Evelina's discomfort.
"I haven't done anything wrong. But hacking is a crime, you know. Do it again, and I'll call the cops," Evelina bluffed, knowing she couldn't admit to any wrongdoing.
Evelina's continued kneeling only added to her discomfort, both physically and emotionally. She pleaded once more, "Lemira, isn't this enough for you?" Lemira looked down at her with a smirk. "Enough? We're far from done. Tell Caspian we're through unless you disappear from our lives for good." With those final words, Lemira left Evelina behind, a pitiful figure surrounded by whispering onlookers. Evelina, feeling utterly humiliated, struggled to her feet, eager to escape the judgmental eyes.

Resolved to protect herself, Evelina backed up her phone's contents. Her next move was to seek out Dorian at the business school, hoping his support could shield her from Caspian's wrath. She was tired of being on the receiving end of physical abuse and longed for a reprieve.
Meanwhile, Lemira returned to her classroom, finding solace in the support of her classmates and the assurance of TG Group's PR Team handling any fallout. She knew the Langstons would soon c
knocking, especially since she was adamant about pressing charges against Caspian for assault. The battle lines were drawn, but Lemira was not afraid. The will be updated first on this website. Cback and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
