"I can see it! We're almost at the three thousand big and small universes!"

"Oh, thank goodness! I'm so glad we finally got rid of Ronnie. We've been journeying for a while, and now, we've made it here."

"Yeah. | hope we can be safe in this place."

When the blue airship cto a stop, all the members of the mermaid race felt anxious and excited.

After all, they had worn themselves out trying to run and hide away from Ronnie. They had even traveled almost every corner of

the Sea of Chaos for a while just to escape dangers. Now that they were out of harm's way, they cto this place to seek refuge.

It had only been a few days since they steered clear of Ronnie, but the peace and quiet during their trip to the three thousand big

and small universes had brought them a sense of relief.

"Ah, the legend's true.

This place is under the protection of a large array.

Outsiders like us aren't allowed to cin and out freely.

It seems we have to ask for permission first so we can enter."

When everyone released their spiritual senses to inspect the situation in the three thousand big and small universes, they all took

notice of the Grand Geomancy Array.

"Whoa. This array is so powerful.

Even | can't enter! | would try using force but | believe | still wouldn't be able to break it!"

Elmer blurted out.

He was surprised to see how impressive the array was. After all, he was a semi-governing god.

If he couldn't squeeze his spiritual sense through the array, then this could only mean that it was absolutely powerful.

Slowly, the blue airship kept moving forward until it reached the edge of the Grand Geomancy Array.

"Who are you?

Stop right now!

You are not allowed to enter the three thousand big and small universes without permission!" a voice yelled from the Grand

Geomancy Array.

Without delay, more than a dozen divine gods flew out and stood guard on the void as they faced the blue airship from afar.

Among them were both genuine and ordinary divine gods—all of which were Austin's slaves.

Not long ago, Kevin divided sof Austin's slaves into smaller teams with a dozen members each. He assigned sof these

teams by the array, so they were the ones responsible for guarding and patrolling it.

Heeding the warning, Elmer led his people outside their airship. With his hands raised in front of his body, he greeted the divine

gods, saying, "We are the members of the mermaid race. | apologize for paying you a surprise visit."

"What did he say?

They're from the mermaid race?" the divine gods asked each other with furrowed brows.

"Um. Ahem. Here's the thing. An enemy is chasing us and we've been trying to escape from him for a while.

We have nowhere left to go, so we're wondering if we could enter the three thousand big and small universes and find a place to

live here,"

Elmer explained with a nervous smile, trying to express every word with respect.

"Ha! You are a powerful semi-governing god!

Why would you chere just to avoid your enemy?

This reason is too far-fetched," one of the guards asked with contempt.

"I swear to you, | am telling the truth.

Please, sir. Would you be so kind as to let us in?

We've had quite an onerous journey," Elmer replied as he rubbed his hands together.

Beads of sweat trickled down his temples. He felt really embarrassed and aggrieved that he had to ask for help from others who

didn't trust him nor his intentions.

Elmer was a semi-governing god—of course, he would break out in a cold sweat. He had just forced himself to take all of his

clansmen and brazenly requested another universe community to take them in.

No matter how strong and powerful he was, the mermaid race needed his help, and so he had no other choice but to put his pride

to the side.

Besides, Ronnie wasn't going to stop until he found them. They were running out of time.

Since the mermaid race couldn't find a place to stay in the entire Sea of Chaos, their circumstances compelled them to go

someplace else.

Now that they had made their way to the three thousand big and small universes, there was nothing that could stop him from

begging for their kindness and shelter. At the end of the day, his utmost priority would always be the safety of the mermaid race.

Just when the divine gods were about to drive Elmer away, he got saved by the bell.

When the Divine Swordsman, Santos, Parker, and Alethea received the report that they had visitors claiming to be from the

mermaid race, they rushed over to check the situation. After all, the mermaid race had quite a powerful elder with them.

It wasn't every day that they got a chance to meet a semi-governing god, so it was definitely a big deal that no one would miss out

on.

Now that Elmer was right in front of them, they were eager to know more about why the mermaid race paid them a visit.

"Did you say you're from the mermaid race?"

Santos asked inquisitively as he looked at Elmer.

Under normal circumstances, the members of the mermaid race lived and stayed in the Heaven Beast Valley.

It was a terrifying forbidden area, so no outsiders ever dared to break into their hso easily.

No one knew much about them. For this reason, everyone called the mermaid race mysterious.

"Yes, | did.

We are all from the mermaid race,"

Elmer responded with a nod.

"I heard that the reason why you're trying to enter the three thousand big and small universes is to avoid your enemy who had

been chasing you.

Is that true?" the Divine Swordsman asked.

"That's right.

Unfortunately, our race had provoked a fearsenemy.

A while back, we've fled the Heaven Beast Valley to run away and hide. However, now, we've found ourselves having no place to

stay in the entire Sea of Chaos.
