Not long after, he bid farewell to the old man. He left the underground palace with the remaining members of the Divine Moon Sect

and returned above ground.

Since the old man was just a broken soul that had nothing to do with the Divine Moon Sect, Austin thought there was no need to

give him a hard time.

All the members trembled and hurriedly did as told for fear that Austin would lay his hand on them if they defied his orders. They

quietly moved as one and led him to an old altar on the mountain.

A fist-sized blue crystal ball could be seen on the altar.

A slender middle-aged man walked to the altar and knelt down, all the while lowly muttering something. After a few moments, he

placed his hand on the crystal ball.

In just a few seconds, the crystal ball emitted a dazzling blue light that soared into the sky, lighting up their surroundings.

A moment later, a phantom figure appeared above the crystal ball.

The figure wore a black robe and his face was hidden away by the hood of the robe. He rippled in the air.

"Turns out there's a teleportation array inside the crystal ball. Once it's activated, it can receive sounds and images, '

Austin quickly recognized the use of the crystal ball.

"What is it?" The figure clad in black robes asked.

From his raspy voice, Austin quickly deduced that the figure was a rather old man.

According to Austin's instruction, the middle-aged man reported the events to the elder.

Once the report was over, the black-robed man turned and fixed his sharp eyes on Austin.

"Are you really one of the rats before? You made it out of there alive? "

Excitement colored the figure's voice.

he chuckled.

"I'll wait for you." Austin's lips mirrored the man's smile.

After those words, he threw a punch at the crystal ball from the distance and the ball shattered into pieces.

Once done with that, Austin released his spiritual sense and scanned the remaining members in front of him.

Since his spiritual sense was powerful, he could read their mind and dig through their secrets.

Austin was far better than all of them in terms of sheer spiritual sense and vital energy realm.

They considered him a real god.

Austin's voice was devoid of any emotion.

each other on trembling legs as they stared in fear at Austin. Pale faces stood out against the brilliant red of blood covering every

inch of the floor.

Austin spared their lives because he could tell that none of them had done horrible things.

He spared them one more glance before he disappeared in one quick move from within the space array.

Austin took the hundreds of jade tokens with him instead of throwing them away.

As long as he had the jade tokens, the people in the Divine Moon Sect's headquarters could track him down.

He knew that the members of the Divine Moon Sect would cafter him eventually.

"Thank goodness! That devil finally left!"

Once they made sure that Austin really left, the rest of the stronghold's sect members could only heave out a sigh of relief. After a

short discussion with each other, they decided to quit the Divine Moon Sect and find a hidden place to cultivate at instead.

Almost all of them were just ordinary birds and beasts recruited by the Divine Moon Sect.

The day's events completely traumatized them and none of them would dare to get involved in the underground world of martial

arts again.
