Chapter 100 Katrina's POV The car ride felt like it was going on eternity, neither of us saying anything to the other.

I mean, what else could I say? Thanks for takingto this wedding? I scoffed mentally, as if.

I never wanted to be here and the man wouldn't listen to anything I say and I had no choice but to just go along with him.

Silas sat beside me,as always, while I stared out of the window, my thoughts running wild.

I knew he wasn't takingto this wedding as ssort of romantic gesture. It was quite obvious since he had a gun tucked into his belt and maybe a knife someone else.

And I also had this smile knife tucked into my garter on my thigh cause I didn't want to feel left out.

I doubt I'd use it but hey, you can't ever be sure.

I turned my attention to Silas for like the hundredth tsince we got into the car.

This wasn't about us playing dress-up and pretending to be a normal couple for the night. No, this was about his work, his business-something I didn't understand and wasn't sure I wanted to.

I always thought I would get married to srich man who had nothing to do with the mafia and move away and live a small, easy, rich life somewhere in Philadelphia.

But life seemed to have other plans forbecause I was currently on my way to watch a man get And by no one else but my husband. Plot twist.

killed.

I should have done one of those get ready withvideos. Like get ready withto watch my husband kill a man.

Yay.

Certain posting stuff like that would geta lot of views on YouTube. Maybe I should think about that? Life as a Don's wife.

It seemed cool to me.

Silas' eyes flickered to me, a brow coming up and I realized I had been saying my thoughts out loud all these while. His lips tugged into a small amused smile, his face holding surprise. Heat crept up in my cheek and I turned my face away sharply.

But that seemed to be the wrong move because my forehead cin contact with the window, and I hissed in pain.

My hands instantly shot up to rub my forehead, tears burning in my eyes.

That hurt a lot.

A low chuckle was heard from besideand my eyes snapped to Silas immediately The corners of his lips were pulled upwards and I glared at him I'm happy he found it funny.

10:07 Sun, Dec 1 G.

Chapter 100 Slowly he reached out, pressing his palm to my forehead and rubbing in small circles.

"Silly girl," he said, his voice a deep rumbled and for a moment I forget everything and just stared at him.

10.90%1 When the car finally stopped outside the hall, my stomach twisted. The building was stunning, lit up with golden lights that made it look straight out of a fairytale and I couldn't help but stare. I had wanted a fairytale wedding like this, but instead I was kidnapped and forced to beg married to an old man like this.

My eyes went to Silas once again and this tI glared hard at him.

My emotions kept going from anger to lust and many others. But the main two were anger and lust cause I was stuck between killing him and humping him. Tough choice..

"If you keep staring atthat way, your eyes would fall off," Silas said without even looking atbut that didn't stop the glare.

The very least he could have givenwas the type of wedding I wanted, but I guess it was too late now.

I was kidnapped and forced to a wedding which only two people attended, I passed out due to lack of air cause of how tight the corset was. But really too late.

Guests in glamorous outfits were walking inside, their laughter floating in the air. For a moment, I almost forgot why we were here. Almost.

It was hard to forget that you were here to unalive one of the people who thought today was going to be the best day of his life. Sucks to be him tho.

"So the man we are here to unalive is someone in a mafia?" I asked Silas just to be sure. If he was indeed in the mafia, then it would makefeel less bad.

"So you think it's alright to kill people if they were in the mafia? Silas asked and my heart fell, I didn't mean it that way. But he didn't wait forto explain.

Silas stepped out of the car first, offeringhis hand to take. His touch was steady, clamping around my small ones tightly as he pulledout and steadied me.

But it didn't ease the tightness in my chest. I followed him up the steps, my heels clicking against the ground. A few eyes turned to stare at us, but that only made the way I was feeling worse.

Couldn't people just mind their business instead of staring? I wanted to tell them off but Silas' grip on my hand tightened.

At the entrance, two large men in black suits stood by the door, clearly security. Both were bald with a straight line on their face. I guess they weren't allowed to be happy even thought it was a happy day for the people inside. Staring at them as we got closer, I wondered if Silas got ssort of invitation or some, Cause it would be really awkward if were all staring at each other with invitation.

But then Silas handed one of them an invitation card, not even othering to look at them. Sun, Dec i Chapter 100 What? 90% "You got an invitation?" I blurted out lowly, my voice filled with disbelief. I really doubt that he had gotten an invitation from either thr bride's family or the groom's family. So how? Silas glanced at me, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "What did you think?" "Quite obvious I didn't think you did," I replied, folding my arms and narrowing my eyes.

So they faked the card then. They really were prepared.

He didn't respond, just raised an eyebrow as if he found my doubt amusing.

Typical Silas. He always liked to keepguessing.

The security guard scanned the card and nodded, stepping aside to let us through.

The doors opened, revealing a lavish ballroom that looked like it cout of Disney. I couldn't help but be in awe.

It was really pretty. Everyone dressed in ballroom style, the music filtering through to my ears.

I now realize why Silas had giventhis dress. Wearing something else would have made feel out of place. I didn't fit in, but then again I wasn't stuck out.

Kind of like an in between.

"Look around," Silas said, his voice low as his eyes darted around.

Look around? Look around for who? The answer hitalmost immediately but I still asked.

""For what?" I asked.

"Look around for the groom," he replied, his dark eyes scanning the room once more.

How was I supposed to know who the room was with all these lavishly dressed people? "Find the one who seems the happiest. Or something," Silas replied as if he had read my mind.

I hesitated, my chest tightening again as I followed his gaze. My eyes darted from one man to another, trying to figure out who it was that Silas had chere for. And then I saw him. And I froze.

The air felt like it had been sucked out of the room as my heart dropped into my No, no, no.

stomach.

There, standing near the center of the ballroom, was someone I hadn't seen in years-someone I never thought I'd see again.

It was Eihan.

My ex You know how people have different kinds of exes? Thus was THE EX An ex who had ruined me, shattered my trust, and left ine in piers Cine I wouldn't mind seeing with a bullet woundtor Chapter 100 two, in his head.

00 Memories of our past flooded my mind, each one more painful than the last. I remembered how he had lied to me, manipulated me, and tossedaside like I was nothing. The bastard had gotten close toonly because meet my father. And after he had gotten what he wanted, he ran I hadn't seen him since then.

And now he was here, dressed in a sharp suit, laughing with his friends as if he hadn't done anything wrong. Actually now that I thought about it, he actually seemed to be the happiest amongst all these miserable people.

Don't tell me...

My hands clenched into fists at my sides, my nails digging into my palms.

"You've got to be kidding me," I whispered, more to myself than to Silas.

Silas turned to me, his expression calm with a little bit of curiosity in them. "You know him." wanted to

"Yeah, I know him," I said, my voice mylex.

shaking with a mix of anger andm disbelief. "He's my ex. The one who-" I stopped myself, the words too bitter to say out loud. I'm even surprised someone is able to withstand his shitty personality and want to spend the rest of their lives with him.

That's crazy.

Silas's lips curled into a small, almost amused smile. "Interesting" I turned to him, my anger boiling over. "Kill him," I said, my voice sharper than I expected. "I don't care. Do it." It seems I haven't yet forgiven him for what he did to me. And like I said, I didn't mind if he had a bullet or two in his head It would only even things out.

Silas raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by my reaction. "Are you sure?" "Sure?" I scoffed, my hands still clenched into fists. "I don't just want you to kill him, Silas. I want you to make him suffer." I want to see him crying and begging for his life cause I'm a petty person that can't let the ex that hurt them go free.

but somehow, he still managed to sound like he could kill. "Well, I'm glad to see you're He chuckled softly, his voice lo excited about this." "Excited? I-" I started to snap, but his next words stoppedin my tracks.

"Because you'll be the one doing it." The blood drained from my face and my head snapped to him in shock. "What?"

"You heard me," Silas said calmly, grabbing my waist and pullingcloser to his body. He nodded at a man that walked past us, a faint smile on his lips. "You're going to be the one to kill him" Silas said toimmediately, the hand on my waist burning through the fabric and heating my skin up.

1 stared at him, my mind racing. This had to be skind of jo But Silas didn't joke, not about things like this, 10:07 Sun, Dec 1 Chapter 100 I know I wanted him dead, but do I want to be the one to put the bullet into his head? Tough choice.

"Silas," I said, my voice trembling. "I can't-" "You can," he interrupted, his dark eyes locking onto mine. "And you will." I opened my mouth to argue, but the look in his eyes stopped me. He wasn't givinga choice.

TOX 90% I had to kill the ex who had hurt me. Maybe I should really consider that YouTube channel I thought of earlier.

This would bring in a lot of views and I'd be rich. But letting the world know you killed someone doesn't exactly seem like the ideal thing to do. My heart pounded as I looked back at Ethan, completely oblivious to the fact that his life was now in my hands.

This wasn't how I imagined tonight going.
