Alex responded, "Sure."
After speaking, he brushed past Jewel and sat on the left side of the main seat.
Jewel stared at the man's back as she silently took a breath. Suddenly, she felt a stabbing sensation in her heart, as
if someone had stabbed it with a knife!
She had imagined their reunion, but she never expected it to be so awkward and indifferent!
