Kevin’s tearful eyes revealed his painful sorrow. He took a deep breath and called Jasper.
“Jasper, it’s me.”
“What’s wrong?” Jasper asked.
Kevin clutched his chest, overwhelmed by severe pain, and uttered hoarsely, “Esther had a car accident!”
“What? Where?”
Pain strained Kevin’s voice. “On Coastal Highway 9.”
Jasper clenched the steering wheel, his gaze fixed on the distant, raging flames. He ordered, “Then what are you
waiting for? Go save her!”

rarely offered such miracles.
Esther’s chances of survival were one in a million, considering she had fallen from such a height and that the raging
fire followed afterward.
“No, Kevin!” Jasper sharply reminded, “Even if it’s just a one-in-a-million chance, don’t give up!”
Kevin sadly gazed at the roaring fire. “Perhaps this is the best outcome. She’s finally free.”
She had her life back, and she wouldn’t be brought back to Bradley!
“Jasper, you know? I found Esther in Warner Manor’s secret room.
“She was imprisoned in a crystal coffin.
“When I saw her, she was full of disgust for this world.
“This car accident was preventable, but why did it happen? It’s because Bradley kept chasing after Esther,
repeatedly using his car to collide with the car she was driving. He hoped to force her to stop.
“Esther never stopped—she never gave in to fate!
“Perhaps, in that final moment, she thought that instead of being imprisoned alive in a sunless secret room, she’d
rather keep her eyes open and rush toward freedom!”
Kevin’s words were like piercing swords, deeply affecting Bradley’s heart.
Bradley swiftly approached Kevin and grabbed his phone, tossing it carelessly over the cliff.
“Kevin, Esther is not dead!”

Kevin suddenly smiled and faced Bradley’s furious expression. “Bradley, on what basis do you believe Esther is not
dead? Based on your arrogance?”
“I’ll warn you one last time, Kevin. Esther is not dead!”
It couldn’t be! Esther definitely couldn’t have died! Bradley believed in Esther’s resilience—she couldn’t have died!
“Bradley, if you were God, you could give Esther her life back!
“But are you Him? You’re not! Esther fell from such a high cliff—she must have been injured and unconscious. With
a fire like that, do you have any idea how much pain she would be in?”
Jasper’s car screeched to a halt, and he rushed out to the cliff’s edge, screaming with his heart torn apart, “Esther!”
Upon hearing Jasper’s cry, tears uncontrollably streamed down Kevin’s eyes.
Bradley reached Jasper from behind with a murderous aura and grabbed him by the collar. “Jasper! It’s your and
Kevin’s rash actions that killed Esther!”
