Chapter 616
“Ms. Quill is done with changing her dressing,” Jordyn said.
Jasper smiled in gratitude and said, “Thank you.”
Looking at the handsome Jasper, Jordyn suddenly asked, “Mr. Searle, are you looking for a girlfriend?”
Jasper was surprised by the abrupt question.
Jordyn realized her question had been too sudden, but she couldn’t resist asking because Jasper was such an
exceptional man.
“Mr. Searle, if you ever want a girlfriend, consider me!” Jordyn smiled. “I’m quite fond of you.”
A man like Jasper, outstanding, graceful, and of high status, was hard for any woman to resist.

Jordyn nodded and said sincerely, “Absolutely.”
In fact, many women trying to catch Jasper’s eye secretly hoped to replace Esther in his heart, thinking it would be
a step toward a successful life.
“I will seriously consider your proposal,” Jasper replied formally and cautiously, as was his way with confessions.
“Thank you, Mr. Searle. I won’t be a burden in your life, I promise.”
“Alright.”
From then on, Jordyn became friendlier and more caring toward Esther. She believed that as long as Esther played
matchmaker, Jasper wouldn’t refuse.
Esther was concerned about Bradley and kept asking Kevin about his recovery, so she was unaware of Jasper and
Jordyn’s situation.
Luckily, Bradley was naturally robust, and his recovery was better than Esther had expected.
Although Kevin had kept the news of Chadwick and Esther’s wedding from Bradley, the latter sensed something was
amiss from the nurses’ conversations.
Bradley seethed with anger but couldn’t move freely to express it.
Once Esther was allowed to move around freely, she asked Jasper to take her to see Bradley.
Jasper, who always found it hard to say no to Esther, didn’t decline. He and Jordyn accompanied Esther to Bradley’s
hospital
room.
Esther stood at the door, looked at Bradley affectionately, and called, “Brad!”

here?”
Hearing Bradley’s scorn, Jasper couldn’t hold back. “Bradley, you know the situation. Why the sarcasm? Is this how
a man behaves?”
Bradley responded with hostility. “Ask Esther. She’s been with you all this time. Has she even glanced at you?
Pendleton just needs to snap his fingers, and…”
Esther couldn’t contain her frustration any longer and slapped Bradley hard. “Bradley, must you insult me like this?”
Bradley licked the blood at the corner of his mouth and asked, “Esther, do you really think I’d feel remorse for what
you’ve done-”
Jasper frowned and interrupted Bradley, “Aren’t you supposed to be grateful to Esther?”
“Did she donate her liver to me?” Bradley sneered. “I’m not like you, Jasper. I won’t be thankful for her petty
gestures. Her so-
called sacrifices mean nothing to me.”
